The $4.5 million bet represents the largest mobile sports wager of all time and the second-largest Super Bowl wager ever placed, trailing a $4.9 million bet made in 2002. According to ESPN, McIngvale drove from Texas into Louisiana and placed the bet on his phone while pulled over at a gas station. It was placed with Caesar’s Sportsbook.

I have always wondered how the rich guys have their arrangements set up with the mobile sites. Yahoo Sports often posts big BetMGM wagers. I think Portnoy said he heard Mayweather carries a lot of the BetMGM handle in Michigan.

Since I'm in the market for furniture, I think I'm going to go buy a bunch from him this weekend, since I'll have a chance of getting free.
I'm falling right into his trap. Oh well. Go Bengals.

Is this to cover offering free furniture if the Bengals win or is this just a balls to the wall bet for fun?

He lost $4.7 million in a week betting on football in January, highlighted by a $2.7 million money-line bet on Alabama in the national championship game, which Georgia won. The following week, McIngvale saw $2 million in futures bets he placed on the Patriots to win the Super Bowl go up in flames with a 47-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the playoffs.

If I had $100 million, I would not pay 4.5 of it on a football game.

Anyone who thinks he loses money doing this, doesn't know what they are talking about.

If you talk shite about mattress Mack you are the loser.
That guy does so much for the city of Houston and despite his age and fame still works the floor at his stores.

So he's a jinx like some on here and the Rams are going to win? Time to put money on the Rams and track his bets in the future and go opposite.
