Career ('08-'17)
41,796
260 TD
126 Int
Owns all of the Falcons team QB stats. NFC champion. One Super Bowl appearance. And still chugging.

That’s like saying you’re the tallest midget or saying you had the fastest 100 meter dash time at the Special Olympics

He's on track for sure.

Drew Brees as a comparison...

Career ('01-'10)
35,266
235 TD
132 INT

I think another four years of this kind of productivity gets him in. Super Bowl ring = 100% in.

On the saints board they'd argue no, he's not as handsome as Garrapalo

All pro only once.
If you go by stats alone then a lot of people would be in. Was he best or 2nd best at his position for at least 4 years. The answer is no.

shite, Kurt Warner had what, two or three good years and he's in. I think Ryan will make it.

If he retired today I don't think he's in at all. He needs to do something special, like say go to the super bowl and lose 4 times in a row like Jim Kelly

Yes he will be in...if Warren Moon gets in without a SB, Ryan can too.

No. Numbers are going to be inflated for every good QB as the game is currently played. That isn't enough to get you in.

Fastest qb to 40K in history. Ryan is more than just a qb in a passing era.

With that said...if he retired today he is not in the hall. As others have stated he needs a few more years.

Lots of shitty players have rings. And no, I'm not saying Kurt Warner was shitty. But using "a ring" as criteria is dumb as hell.

Doesn't mean anything anymore besides him being a good QB. Wentz, Winston, and Goff will have a great shot at beating his record.

Doubt it and there's no way Winston comes close to his
QB rating and certainly not TD passes.

You don't have yob disregard because I'm a Saints fan. Prove me wrong. The three QBs I mentioned hav a good shot at beating Ryan's record. It's the way the NFL is set up these days. I think every QB in the game today has been a beneficiary of a league looking to open up the offense. I don't think because Brees plays for the Saints that he's better than Montana or Marino. I say the same for Brady and Manning. Beneficiaries. In other words, eye-popping stats are the norm now. Ryan is not a lock for HOF. In fact if given the choice, most falcons fans would take Brady's, Brees', Manning Rodgers' and possibly Roethlisberger's career over Ryan.
