You realize that he is only a redShirt sophomore this year? And with the blanket waiver from the NCAA for fall sports he could theoretically be our QB for three more years after this one.

Start as a redShirt senior and let Arch Mannning redhsirt as freshman to learn the system then take over as a redshirt freshman in year 5 of Kiffin

So much delusion in one post. Chock-full.

This is 100% factual

Yes this is in theory if certain events fall certain ways. Simply stating a "Best case scenario for OM Football"

If he keeps playing like this, he won’t be coming back for next year, let alone two more years.

If he starts to suck, then you don’t want him anyway.

I agree. Just saying what COULD happen.

As long as UGA doesn’t have to play him

He's a very talented kid, but there will be questions about his character. He was a bit of a knucklehead, which is why a lot of programs backed off. That's how he ended up at Ole Miss. I wish him well, I've always been a fan.

wonder how much teams will be scared off by the recent history of Ole Miss QBs: Jevan Snead, Swag Kelly, Shea Patterson, etc...It’s not good.

Organizations don't look at a kid and say "Oh wow! He has everything we are looking for! Oh wait.... He went to THAT school? Nevermind."

Matt Corral is playing as good as anybody this year.
With Mac Jones as the exception, IMO.

Agree that another year at Ole Miss would help his draft stock. One and done hurt Haskins.

Who's that, Corral?? Kid can sling the football though, he's mainly taken the job from Plumlee it appears because Plumlee isn't the passer that he is. But Plumlee is an exceptional athlete and can do many things well, Kiffin seems to wanna use him in that capacity with lining him up as a WR amongst other things to get the ball to him in space.

All of the Ole Miss QBs I rattled off performed very well for Ole Miss and then did nothing after leaving the program.

Two of the three quarterbacks you mentioned went Undrafted and Swag was the last pick of his draft. Your point is still stupid.

I’ll accept my L on this take.

At the time the kid had just dismantled both Kentucky‘s decent defense and owned an Alabama defense. Guess he is just too much of a gunslinger. Maybe he has fitz magic/fitztragic disease.

Or he just sucks.

He’ll probably throw as many TDs as he did INTs today when he plays us fml

Unless he continues to dominate, he should definitely come back. He could be a top 2 pick next year depending on how Sam Howell continue its to develop.

Bump. Remember all you peeps laughing at my prediction. Here we are...I think corral can still go high in this draft.

Not really, he was bad against everyone but Arkansas and Southeastern. He basically came into the season with no drat resume. Keep it up this season then he's on radars.

He lead the country in total offense. He had 2 bad games

Eta
Holy shite I didn’t realize this was a bump.

Huh? Corral was really good last year, but Arkansas was the worst game of his career. He threw 6 INTs.
