Quickest way to be hated on the MSB:
start a thread letting everyone know when it's time to enter the lottery.

I'm pretty sure you can pick me up for $75-$100.

Can anyone ballpark what a practice round ticket would be for Monday or tuesday?
i won the lottery for Tuesday practice round tickets last year. They were $65 each.
Much more expensive if you have to go on the open market, I believe.
Place is worth every dollar though.

Or do both. Let everyone know to enter, then be the only one to win

frick me, is that legit? I figured even early week practice rounds would be going at least four times the face value.

Yeah I knew the face value but I'm planning on not winning the lotto so was just going to have to scour the secondary markets. Just trying to plan on if I'd need to spend $200 or $1000 lol.

I've never been, but I'm fairly certain I've heard multiple people find them at those prices.
If I'm wrong, sorry for getting your hopes up.

So how exactly does this system work? Do you only win if you get selected for the amount you apply for?
As in, I put in an application for 4 tickets. Is my only chance to get 4 tickets? Or can I get two? If I request 2 (or 4) for every day of practice rounds, is that an auto-reject since you can only get one day of practice round tickets?
Just curious because I see people in these threads only applying for 2 on one day of the Masters. Wondering why you don't request the max for every day and see what happens?

I figured my odds would be better if I selected 2. Plus it would just be me and wife or me and father going. Didn't want to hassle with bringing three others.

So is there something that says you have a better chance at getting your application accepted if you only request 2?
What I'm trying to figure out is do the people who request 4 tickets have the same odds of getting 2 tickets as all the people who only request 2 tickets.

No there's nothing that states that. It's just my own made up odds. I have no clue how the lottery works, just got lucky this time.

This is such a tease.. Mine is still saying "submitted and received." I'm refreshing every 10 minutes. Likely just giving false hope..

I would budget 500 for a pair. Not long ago you could pick up practice round tickets for a 100 per, but I haven't seen secondary prices like that in a while.
Close to tournament time, for better practice round days, you'll see them rise to 300/400 each.

No tickets for me again this year.....still hoping for practice round tickets.
