So I was gazing over Lunardi's latest predictions this morning and couldn't help but notice what would be the absolute region of death.
I will list you the seeds he currently has in the South Region along with their respective KenPom rating.

South
1.Duke (KenPom 5)
2.Kansas (8)
3.New Mexico (16)
4.Michigan (11)
5.Arizona (20)
6.Pittsburgh (7)
7.Creighton (15)
8.Missouri (18)

I doubt the committee would put all these teams together in the same bracket, but just the fact that it is even possible this year. I think everyone of those schools with the exception of Mizzou would have a shot at winning that regional.

You do not want to see SLU in your bracket, if your a top seed.

they can play and beat anyone, their weakness has always been shooting. when they do, lights out.

Yeah, even they gave Michigan State a great run for their $$$$ last year.

Damn. It'd be Michigan over Duke and Kansas over Michigan IMHO

yeah, and i think SLU shot like 28% from the field. and Michigan st had a couple big breaks and rolls go their way after SLU cut it to a basket. Ended up being a 4 point MSU win.

This is exactly what Majerus wanted. Tough, tenacious defense, ball movement, team play, and it would equal winning.

Before the season, he had high expectations for this team.

Got a feeling Saint Louis is gonna make a little run in this tourney for Coach Majerus.

New Mexico gets a 3 seed
SLU gets a 5 seed

SLU pole axed New Mexico, and is a better team.

Neither csu, unlv, new mexico would win the A-10.

Hope so, gotta be tough for those kids losing their coach like that.

SLU will have alot of support in the tourney as well

Lunardi is usually good at who's getting in. His seeding/placement is usually off though.

Oh I agree. I was just showing how dangerous this tournament is going to be, the fact that you have teams like Arizona as a 5, and Creighton as a 7. That is a scary matchup for some of the higher seeded teams if they make it to the second round (or round 3 according to the ncaa)

Agreed. Palm is better at placement on who you are going to play than Lunardi.
