After 30+ years of being kicked in the dick over and over as a diehard Dolphins fan, it’s almost like a badge of honor. I can’t change.

There are a surprising amount of Bills fans in the Nola area. I root for the Sabres and wear there gear often, and have been approached a few times by people wanting to talk about the Bills. They are always confused when I tell them I’m not a fan

I’ve walked up to strangers wearing hockey gear and walked up to talk some hockey, more than half just liked the way the cloths looked and couldn’t tell you what icing is, lol

Been an Eagles fan since 1980 when I was 6 and watched them play Oakland in the Super Bowl. I don’t lose sleep when they lose, but I definitely root for and care more about that team than I do the Saints.

Chad Loup. Good QB that played for a bad team.

Having lived in Ohio for over 3 decades now, I have been a Bengals fan for a long time. Having Burrow and Chase on the team just super charged my fandom.
I’ve been here in Ohio over two decades now. Always enjoyed watching or occasionally attending Bengals games with friends from here, but could take them or leave them. Burrow and Chase coming here changed that for me.

You’re not really a team fan. You’re just a fan of a player but that’s pretty common for professional sports.

Exactly . I watched every Commanders game and almost every Bengals game this year, more than I watched my down-trodden Saints.

However, as soon as Jayden or Joe got pulled from the game, I switched channels. Deep down, I don't really care about Cincy or Washington.

If you told me Mariota would be starting next week vs. the Lions, I wouldn't waste one second watching that game, despite learning the Commanders' roster/coaches/team strengths & weaknesses, and rooting for them to win each week.

He’s the only person i I could think of that started liking a new team, other than the camther and burrow bengal fans.

Ehhh, I was a die hard Saints fan growing up in BR until they broke me in 1992. I moved to Houston around the same time and I spent the next 8-10 years as a jaded Saints fan until Houston got a new franchise. I got season tickets and watched them grow up.

At this point, I am a Texans fan, but I still have a soft spot (and soft head likely) for the Saints. But even when the Saints won the Super Bowl and had the long run with Brees, I was more casual than super fan.

I am also a big fan of Burrow, and in turn the Bengals. I dont get the hate people seem to have for that. As a huge diehard LSU fan, why would I not want the greatest LSU player in my 57 years of living to be great in the NFL? Except when they play the Texans or Saints.

Basically, I can never imagine not having a single rooting interest in college football, yet have split interests with the NFL.

In fairness to Kelce, he didn't endorse Carmela despite his multi-billionaire GF doing so.

I agree that Chiefs are most MAGA organization in the league from top to bottom (ownership to coaches to players to fans).

It’s hard for me to pull for a team that I don’t have some sort of tie to. Whether it be geographical, educational, etc… I can’t make myself care about some random arse team just because I like a player or something like that.

I'm a Notre Dame "High Motor Gym Rat Lunch Pailer" Fighting Irish fan until after the NC game, then I revert back to a University of Louisiana State University fan. (And Alumnus)
