Delaying the brackets over this would be complete horse shite and an injustice to every team in the playoffs
In a just world, U-High would be dissolved. They’ve completely deviated from their original purpose.
Too many bureaucrats, lawyers, and politicians have sent their kids to school there. Now a Baton Rouge “elite”school can exert power over every other school in the state.

Per FB
Seems like Liberty Magnet is the whistleblower

And it seems like they took their sweet fricking time reporting it if it only got sent in at the end of October.

So if U High didn't do their actual due diligence this is completely on them. Shady by Liberty, but U High had it coming if they didn't follow up properly.

So, this wont be settled until at least the 18th?
I'm hearing the championships won't be in the Superdome if this is not settled by Monday morning because the games will be pushed back AT LEAST a week.
Thanks U-High and Liberty!

So the player wasn’t out of zone and this is all over a form not being filled out?

Liberty and Uhigh are in the same attendance zone which is McKinley s...no paper work could make a player immediately eligible, you have to sit out a year if you transfer within same zone

So even if you are in the same zone, you still have to sit out a year?
What possible argument does U High have then??
Also Liberty didn’t play U High and Liberty isn’t making the playoffs either way it appears. Interesting they filed the complaint.

frick U high. That’s a piece of shite school, coach and players.

quote:No, they must sit a year, even if paperwork is correct. Unless some type of hardship is applied for and accepted I think. But hell, I dont know, I do know that if the facts of the case are as Liberty put them out there and the LHSAA ruled on those facts then University has no argument. And if that is the case University is just throwing a tantrum and fricking everyone else over......

How does attendance zones even work when UHigh isn’t subjected to them like the other public schools?
Posted on 11/9/24 at 1:20 pm to whoa
All schools have an attendance zone that is used to determine different types of eligibility.. from freshman to transfers.

Magnets, charters, and privates adopt the attendance zone of the public school in which they are located.

Lost their appeal 22-0. Hearing should be about 30 seconds long.

Some very significant ripple effects here. Spilling over to scheduling, shared field space for practices, etc. Whether it's petty BS on one side. Outright cheating on the other. Or a combination of both. Ultimately it's adults YET AGAIN getting in the way of youth sports. Sad really.
Did U-High "Get Gordon"?
Would seem fitting. Have witnessed him directly involved in cheating at youth sports before. Dirtbag
