Don't sleep on USC going from Hawaii to Syracuse in back to back weeks. That's a ton of travel that will wear on them.
I just want this damn season to start

USC @ Stanford could be interesting and Bama's games with Michigan and Arkansas may be close, but those should be wins. I don't see LSU losing to USCe at home.
don't forget about utah.. they're supposed to be legit this year

LSU:
North Texas
Washington
Idaho
@Auburn
Towson
@Florida
South Carolina
@ Texas A&M
LSU should win all of those. I guess road games at AU and FLA and a home game with USCe could be tricky.
Bama:
Michigan
WKU
@Arkansas
FAU
Ole Miss
@Missouri
@Tennessee
Mississippi State
@Arkansas could be a loss. Rest Alabama should win although Michigan and the back to back road games could be tough.
USC:
Hawai'i
@Syracuse
@Stanford
California
@Utah
@Washington
Colorado
@Arizona
@Washington would seem like the most likely place for a surprising loss.
Oregon:
Arkansas State
Fresno State
Tennessee Tech
Arizona
@Washington State
Washington
Arizona State
Colorado
What a freaking joke of a schedule. One road game to that point of the season? And look at that OOC schedule. Wow.

I think people are grossly overrating Arkansas this year.

Read the thread. The op fricked up. The ASU game is on the road. As far as ooc is concerned, K-state bitched out this year and it'll be the first time (I believe) they don't have at least one good ooc game in many years.
Eta....op, fix your mistake.

We'll see how good UW is when they play LSU.
That'll also give us an idea about Oregon & USCw.
After the way LSU dominated Auburn and UF, USCe is the only team LSU might worry about.
Bama might want to watch out for both Arky & MissSt. Those games have always been tight for Bama... even when they had far superior talent. This year, the gap may be even closer than before.
USCw has been known to slip up, and if they sustain any injuries... they'll be in trouble.
Oregon has had trouble early in the year, but they've made sure to load on the cupcakes early this year. I can see them having trouble with fast teams with strong defensive lines.
To be fair, I just don't know enough about the Pac-12 to comment about them.

Eh....not really IMO. Oregon is head and shoulders above udub and udub has played out of their mind when facing SC.
Udub is gonna get bitch slapped in Tiger stadium.

Washington playing LSU in the beginning of September at Tiger stadium does NOT equal USC playing Washington in Seattle in the middle of October where the HC is the former OC of USC and it's a conference game - so nobody is intimidated by anybody...and whatever LSU does to UW to start the year won't tell us squat about how that translates to the USC game.

Completely agree with this. It's a lot tougher for UW to win games at home in October than in Tiger Stadium in the September heat.
Also, I've learned to never listen to what Oregon fans say about Washington. It's like asking an Alabama fan for an accurate scouting report on Tennessee.

Not really. Arkansas has only been in the game twice with Alabama since Saban got there. Alabama won in the last minute in Saban's first year (2007) but I think Arky was favored in that one. 2010 was the only other close one. State usually hangs around for a half or so (likely because it's always been the week after LSU) before losing by 3 scores.

I didn't. Oregon, IMO, does very well in games they are supposed to win. I don't see them losing through the first 8 weeks.
I think USC could trip up at Utah or Stanford, but I'm not one of those idiots that think USC is overrated. If they stay healthy, they have a very, very good team. I don't think anyone other than Oregon can hang with their offensive prowess in the Pac 12.

Exactly. The transitive property does not work in CFB. Not only do the teams change throughout the season, but the matchups change as well.
For example, LSU and Bama will both have very good defenses this year, but LSU matches up better againtst USC's offense than Bama does. LSU has a better pass rush and a better secondary than Bama does. However, it doesn't mean that LSU has a better defense than Bama.

Especially in conference vs. OOC.
Whether it's SEC in conference or the Pac 12...teams play each other differently. They see them all the time.
Pac 12 teams saw USC far more than any big OOC team...and they had no fear. Apart from the usual refrain of (USC lost to teams they shouldn't lose to) - it's not shocking that all their losses during their run last decade (apart from the 2005 title game) came to in conference foes and rivals while USC was undefeated OOC for 7 years.
It's just different.
I don't take any in conference game lightly if the opponent is somewhat good...especially Stanford, Cal and even UW - since Sark knows Kiffin in and out...as former Co-offensive coordinators at USC.
