USC would have to lay an egg to lose to Cal at home

I'm pretty sure WSU totals will be set around 70 on numerous occassions this year
WSU is changing their scheme to fit the personel better. Leach could surprise. WSU seems to always play Oregon really well. I am just glad the game is not in Pullman. We could really make that a split crowd in Seattle. Lots of duck fans are talking about going to that game.

Cal always has talented players on defense. Likewise, Maynard is in his second season with this offense and they should have better depth at RB. They did lose some on defense. Cal is a sleeper team. Really, it depends on what Cal team decides to show up.

So we know that LSU/ALA will be in primetime.
I assume that ABC Primetime will take the USC/UO game. It's going to really suck if they're on at the same time and I have to miss one of the 2 biggest games of the season. It'd be great if the game didn't start until PT on the west coast and started as the SEC game was ending. I love watching the PAC after the LSU night games are over.

It's the PAC, can't possibly have any other decent teams.

They are a mirage and will likely finish in the bottom half of the top 25 this season.
No chance. There is no way they lose to more than one team before their bowl game.

no real challenges
Pac 12 media preseason picks:
NORTH DIVISION
1. Oregon (117) 732
2. Stanford (5) 533
3. Washington 502
SOUTH DIVISION
1. USC (117) 729
2. Utah (1) 514
Before Oregon USC will play the 3 other teams outside of Oregon predicted to finish in the top of the conference.

You really believe that?

I love Leach and think Wazzu will be good.
Just not this year. It's going to take a little bit of time to turn around that trainwreck of a program.

How does Oregon only have one away game up to 11-3?????

also having A&M right before Bama leads to a possible trap game as well
with the BYE before Bama I don't think that's something that is a real worry. You could have said the same last year, and LSU played its best game of the season in the Auburn game going into the bye.
I do think that the 3 road games and USCe at home is a much rougher road than people are giving it credit for.

does USCw have the depth to make it through a season undefeated....all the talking heads say their first 22 is superb, but what do they have after that???
Posted on 8/20/12 at 12:57 pm to Wooly
I've already mentioned the mistake. They play ASU on the road as well.

No shite. You think maybe USC always dropped a game because there is some depth in the league. It will be nice this year in bowling season when we aren't all bumbed up a game due to a USC bowl ban. Likewise, I think Mora and Leach improve this league.

They knew we were breaking in a new qb.

I like all the new PAC coaches, and add to that the fact that it was already the best conference to watch if you have no rooting interest in the teams.
I'm a huge fan of PAC football, mostly because of the late night starts that the west coast allows.

You do realize that Cal and UTAH are good teams, right? Cal has a ton of talent.
They're not in the SEC, so both of your statements are false.
