Google doesn't know and I tried searching this board and didn't find doodly squat.

With next weekend's semifinals basically set, except a few stragglers playing Saturday, there still is no location set for the championship games?

So it will end up being home fields of the higher seeds and playing for state titles all over the place in dumpy high school stadiums?

Who shite the bed on this, the selects or the LHSAA?

From what I read a while back it seems like the select school fricked this one up. And I’ve been on their side for almost everything in the split

I'd say every kid would rather play Thursday at 10am in the Dome than at 7pm Friday at Country Day.

Desperately needs to go back to the way it was.

I remember the rhetoric when the split happened a few years ago. It can’t last, the public schools will not be able to make. Boy were the people who said that wrong. I’m anxious to see what happens in January at the convention.

I like it the way it is. They just need to reduce the number of classifications.

I heard last night that if UL Lafayette does not host the Sunbelt championship it looks like it’ll be at Cajun field for at least three of the 4. Possibly all 4. I don’t recall exactly what was said, so that’s why I’m not sure about if it’s all 4. And that is not official as far as I know.

No one said the publics couldn’t survive with the split as us. The split is perfect for the public’s as it is. They get privates money during regular season and easy playoffs where “everybody has a chance”.

The Select schools got tired of paying for the dome and getting screwed over the times. Unless there is some coming together next year, no one will be in the dome. Allstate agreed to cover dome costs for non-select this year, will not happen next year.

Had the selects agreed to the original proposal of TWO select divisions, you would not see the watered down playoffs.

Original split was 4 public, 2 select meaning only one additional championship and a much easier to schedule championship weekend

I still believe you will see a major split within LHSAA in the very near future.

And I blame West Monroe High School for rue shitty situation LHSAA is in today.

why do they get blame? Everyone deserves some blame, both John Curtis and the schools that don’t want to compete with them

LHSAA.
They gave selects the permission to set up their own championship games. They, since, have rejected nearly every proposal.

Although it is almost certain that Division I will be at Tulane since 3 of the four semis are from New Orleans. Catholic is on board, as well.
