We're not a lock for a national seed. Currently #7 in the RPI, we're going to have be almost perfect the rest of the season to stay in the top 8.

To be honest, I'd be very upset with PM at this point. You have a facility that is second to none, the history of the program and the SEC patch on your sleeve and little ole ULL is showing you up in your own state.

LSU Baseball under Paul Mainieri (2007- )
NCAA National Champions - 2009
College World Series Appearances - 2008, 2009, 2013
NCAA Super Regional Champions – 2008, 2009, 2013
NCAA Regional Champions – 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013
Southeastern Conference Champions - 2009, 2012
SEC Tournament Champions - 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013
SEC Western Division Champions - 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013
SEC Record 23-Game Win Streak - 2008

ETA: That is not to take away from anything ULL has accomplished. But GTFO with the PM hate...

Let me take my tongue out of my cheek to answer you. Calm down, I'm just repeating what happens on the rant every time you guys don't score as many runs as the other guys. PM runs a good program.

Can you beat Nola and overwork the LSU bullpen in the game Poche pitches?

Can lsu beat Robichaux, and Baranik with a bullpen that has 4, maybe 5 if Harry comes back, quality arms.

I like our chances with Wilson and Boutte as well. Milhorn didn't look to shabby in his two outings last week. We have 5 legitimate starters if he comes back healthy.

Two of those three will move to the bullpen during regionals.

Sweet cop out.

It is amazing how one innocent sentence can send your fan base into a tizzy though.

Seriously, I'm pulling for LSU and Alabama (& others on schedule) to finish out strong. We're currently sitting at #7 in the RPI and our schedule will get weaker with the rest of conference coming up.

It was innocent. If I had wanted to get y'all worked up, I'd have made a thread asking about why you keep referring to yourself as UL.

Again, read what I first responded to, then what I said, and try to tell me I was taking a shot at yall. Not everyone is out to get you.

Yeah probably not a lock but pretty close. Alot of these teams are playing each other and could knock each other out.(Oregon St/Washington, Scar/Bama, Lsu/Bama, Lsu/Ole Miss)

There isnt a 3rd ACC team in line for one. Doubt they give the SEC a 3rd national seed either. Pac 12 is pretty weak this year so its hard to justify giving their 2nd place team a national seed either. Not going to give both Louisville and Houston one. Rice and Indiana arent running the table.

Seriously, I graduated from USL and always wanted it to remain USL. I'm nostalgic I guess.

You're been at this thread for more than six hours?

I guess it would have been beyond you to simply say, "ULL is having a wonderful year in baseball, their fans are pumped and they (like fans from all schools) enjoy hyperbole on sports chat boards," and let it go at that?

Seems your "little brother" is living pretty large in your head. And the Cajun fans aren't even bothering to pay rent.

I guess it would have beyond you to not post directly to me, thus continuing this stupidity?

OMG, yep. My life revolves around Cajun athletics. Which is why my first post in this thread was responding about LSU recruiting. You caught me.

Just make sure you're there when we come knocking. Wouldn't want to be the only Louisiana team in this postseason tournament too.
