ULL field looks cheap and bush league. Not a specific knock on ULL but the fake turf fields with fake dirt just look bad IMO. I think Texas has the same type of field as well. Baseball outdoors is meant to be played on real grass.

Soooooo.... one of the richest schools in the country, if not the richest, has a cheap, bush league field??? Got it.

Milhorn pitched great this year

Geez, do some research.

7.12 ERA
The boxes down the lines can fit many more than the seats that contribute to "capacity". Standing room tickets are sold and you can have 20 people in a box that has 10 "seats"

People don't cheer over umps getting hit on the arm a day later over a random miss at first.

That's where you missed the point. It wasn't a random miss at first. It wasn't even that we lost the game. We were losing big at that point. What fans are pissed at is that our coach, who is one of the classiest in the nation, was lied to, I think was baited, and now suspended for four games. I wish Sunday was televised as well. If you saw the reaction of the txst player on the last out, that would be worth a 4 game suspension. Tony was questioning a horrible call. God forbid he raise his voice or move his hands when the umpire he contacted willfully stood inches away from him while he was talking with the other umpire. A player, who is not supposed to argue, slammed his bat, threw his helmet, verbally abused the umpire with profanity and not a damn thing was done. Don Hudson should be relieved of his sunbelt patch and probably shouldn't be allowed to umpire ever again.

And as stated earlier, it was kind of a halfhearted cheer. One of those "karma's a bitch" cheers. The crowd didn't erupt.

When there is no appeal process, the umpire has a lot of power and needs to be held accountable. You obviously have not seen the play or the argument. First of all, he was looking at the runner touching the plate while the ball was in the air. So either he is flat out lying about seeing the play or he has the best vision on the planet. You don't overturn that call unless you are certain. He then tossed tony for brushing his arm saying the words "you're suspended". He then lied in his report by indicating 2 bumps. There is video evidence refuting that. By rule, he made contact with the umpire. Even though it was not in the spirit of the rule, everyone has accepted the suspension. What fans, as well as jay and tony, want is for don Hudson to be held accountable for his actions. Is he immune to discipline? Tony made incidental contact with the crew chief several times during and after the altercation. Did that umpire file a report? No, because he has a brain between his ears. Tony has never in his 29 years of coaching had an incident with bumping an umpire. You have a team in the middle of the best season in their history and because of an umpire with a Napoleon complex, they have to play 4 games during the home stretch without him. The umpire gets to go back to work as if nothing happened and that's wrong.
Sunbelt Non Conference Record 115-86
Ivy League Non Conference Record 50-86

The Sunbelt has lost the same number of games while winning 65 more. So yes, the Sunbelt kicks the crap out of the Ivy League. Precisely the argument that was made with that statement.
But they beat the mighty tigers! Ivy League must be tough this year. Yale has one pitcher with a winning record.

Yale Sunday starters > Troy, ULM, or Arkansas St's Sunday starters

:rotflmao:
But not better than Yale, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia or vandy's Sunday starters right?

Riiiight! No Cajun players remember last year.

The absolutely do remember last year. How does that negatively affect us this year again?

They don't have the pitching to carry them through the post season.

Ha, we had our Friday and Sunday guys go down for multiple weekends and didn't miss a beat. How are those TBD's on Sunday treating you?

If you're wondering why you get treated like little brother, bull shite like this is precisely why.

Thanks for clearing that up
Just make sure you're there when we come knocking. Wouldn't want to be the only Louisiana team in this postseason tournament too.

Can lsu beat Robichaux, and Baranik with a bullpen that has 4, maybe 5 if Harry comes back, quality arms.

I like our chances with Wilson and Boutte as well. Milhorn didn't look to shabby in his two outings last week. We have 5 legitimate starters if he comes back healthy.
Let me take my tongue out of my cheek to answer you. Calm down, I'm just repeating what happens on the rant every time you guys don't score as many runs as the other guys. PM runs a good program.

you're seriously that retarded?

What would be your response had you won and we were complaining about it or dismissing it?
A lot of what you're saying is right. The problem is you have to say everything with the "you are the little brother, know your place" attitude. Your first post had the statement about playing in the SEC in it. That was the equivalent to "I'm sorry, but..." or "With all due respect..."

To be honest, I'd be very upset with PM at this point. You have a facility that is second to none, the history of the program and the SEC patch on your sleeve and little ole ULL is showing you up in your own state.
It's all good. I was just being sarcastic about the poster he was responding to.

LSU's SOS is in the high 70s right now. Cajuns is right near 100. It's not an earth shattering distance number wise. I'm sorry but the whole SOS argument goes out the window when said team is dominating their schedule. It's not like we are 24-14 and are saying we are hot shite. We are 34-4... and have dominated our mediocre schedule. What else do you want us to do? I mean you can only play the games on your schedule.

No man. I was saying that we play a tougher schedule.....

Talk about having to spell things out...
