Question?? Do you think yall would beat LSU in a 3 game series? ETA: right now.

Earlier in the year, I would say without a doubt.

Now... since you found your bats, locked Javi in the closet, or whatever... I would say that it would be very tough to do. Things would have to go just right. You guys now have a more complete team.

This is the advantage of playing in a tougher conference... you are forced to rise to your competition and get better for it. We started out like a juggernaut, rolling competition pre-conference with about the same OOC SOS as you guys had. You guys had the advantage of facing tougher competition in SEC and improving from it. We did not have the same benefits playing in the Sun Belt. I believe we have the players and the coaching to go all the way IF we can rise to the competitive level that I know we are capable of playing.
Now you got me.

BTW... you would make coach Demby proud!

Present!

Your right... I'm a lurker but I find it funny how quickly most of you flip flop from optimism to pessimism and vise versa. I've grown to disregard most of the predictions from LSU fans posted on this board. Especially prplngldtigr's.

Yet, a team such as ULL or Cal Poly plays less than 2 or 3 top 50 teams

Now now, you know exactly how many teams we played in the top 50. Don't you?
Sunbelt site should be streaming it. (Only good thing about being in SB right now.) I was trying to get a feed for the Vandy game but had to resort to lurking in the Rant for updates.

We better step it up this game. If we lose (which is possible cause it's baseball and ULM is likely hungry for redemption) I will be steering clear of this board.

You must be new here.

What gave it away?

Actually lurked here for awhile, just had not started posting till recently. (Still not sure why I decided to chime in on anything. Namely threads like this one. It's idiotic to think that you can change anyone's mind in these, yet the page count continues.)

*Crap! I posted again. :banghead:
I gotta say... I would hope for more from our fan base. Why would you even acknowledge this?
Look dude, our players are bigger than this... we should try to reflect more of a "class act" as our players are.
That's why I said "may have gained momentum."

It definitely doesn't hurt. Let's see what the bats do against Auburn.

ULL's bullpen vs our bats > LSU's bullpen vs ULL's bats

Do you really think so?

I realize it was against subpar pitching... but the last Tiger offensive outing was something else. You guys may have gained momentum at the plate that could carry through the rest of the season.

Just a question, do ULL fans really want us in it's regional?

Not this fan. I want to see the Cajuns bats against Nola at some point, just not in regional.
We already had a rematch from that game and we lost.

Last year when we bounced y'all from the postseason in a game that mattered?

Yep. What did you think I was talking about?
I agree. I would love to see us both in Omaha for a rematch, not in Regional or Super. But if it has to happen pre-CWS then so be it.

I thought LSU couldn't hit the ball. What the hell? Last night was like the twilight-zone for NW.

I call BS on the comment "the rest are tolerant".

OK. I disagree. I am willing to bet, both statistically and quantitatively, there are more Tiger fans in Lafayette than there are Cajun fans in Baton Rouge. I would also bet that most of the "focus" on attitudes and impressions come from the most vocal minority, which in both cities happen to be the die hard haters.

Personally, I know a vast majority of UL fans that are not "die hard haters". You just don't hear them vocalizing about how much they don't hate LSU.

Loud minority trumps quiet majority on the impression stand point. I've had bad experiences with LSU fans in the past. I've also had good ones but I find I have to think harder to remember all the good ones than I do the bad ones and I can honestly say the good and/or non-eventful experienced far outnumber the bad.

But the second response of every ULL thread is similar to yours. Almost like you're welcoming what you constantly say you hate.

Well this is a LSU message board. I gotta say though... this is the first year I've visited this board and the general community isn't as bad as I thought it was. Sure there are a few on here that seem to shite on UL at any opportunity but I find most are fairly tolerant.
If any of you visit Cajun message board then you would see the same thing... a couple LSU bashing numbnuts that will jump at any opportunity and then the rest that are tolerant as well.

Bama losing isnt ULL's problem. ULL dropping in tRPI just for playing teams in their conference is their problem.

Agreed. With our conference, we almost gotta be perfect just to keep pace nationally.

And congrats Tigers! (believe it or not) I'm glad to see you guys moving up in the polls. I'll cheer for you until you play UL again, then you are the scum of the earth for a few hours.
I've seen physically "unattractive" dudes pull more hot women than some of the "Brad Pitt" types in my lifetime. It all came down to confidence, personality, and character. (taking money out of the equation)

But just looking at her body language... I'd would have to say this is not the case with him.

I ain't sayin she's a gold digger...
This thread is officially in the top half of the ninth!! Glad it wasn't called "half" way due to weather.
