Parkview's win over Acadiana is really helping out. If they don't turn the ball over 7 times, they easily beat Dutchtown. The top few in 3A are stacked, like always.

Rummel should win easily. Acadiana had to fumble 5 times just for the Bucs to have a chance to win the game, and they did. And Acadiana really isn't that good this year, but they still had barbe beat on every stat except turnovers and on the scoreboard.

For what its worth, Kaplan handled North Vermillion pretty easily and has a better record than them.

rummel's team is small - if they ever run into a team with some big kids they're in for a long game

I don't understand how Lutcher played all of the top 5 in 5A except West Monroe early in the year and have the 3rd best power rating. I thought Lutcher would be #1 easily. If it stays this way one side of the bracket is going to be ridiculously loaded with the 3 best teams in 4A.

For comparison below. "*" denotes district game.

Karr has wins over St Paul (5A), Higgins (5A), Destrehan (5A), Shaw (5A), Jesuit (5A) and Walker (5A)

Neville has wins over Ouachita (5A), Marshall, TX (?), Ruston* (4A) and West Ouachita* (4A). One loss to West Monroe (5A)

Lutcher has wins over Dutchtown (5A), Scotlandville (5A), Hahnville (5A), Destrehan (5A), Cox* (4A) and Belle Chasse* (4A)

Yeah I thought Neville would be 3rd. I still think Lutcher's schedule is tougher than Karr's. The extra 4 points from Higgins and Walker have to be the difference.

3 wins combined for Belle Chasse and Helen Cox along with them being 4A is the difference in Lutcher's schedule.

Walker is in district 5-5A per lhsaa's website.

May be OP Walker, not sure. The website I found with the schedules just says "Walker". I assumed Walker High, could be wrong.
