Could I interrupt the Dick pulling contest to request a score of the Sterlington contest?'

Sterlington cut them 11-1 in 5 with 0 outs and a Wallbanger with the bases loaded. It could've been much worse.

Curtis 3 run HR is all the offense so far. 3-0 Curtis Bottom 4

4-5 Barbe kids were told at the time they wouldn't play in front of pretty much this years senior class. They decided to transfer to Iowa their freshman year and sat for a year before becoming eligible. They have those plus 1 from Sulphur at Iowa but it was done by the rules from what I understand.

Then there should be no reason for the split. No good reason why Curtis and West Monroe shouldn't be facing each other in the playoffs this year.

Let's be honest, the split had nothing about what is fair/not fair or even recruiting. It was all about Norman Booker (and other principals) trying to make it easier for Many to win a state title.

Sterlington beat OCS this year.

Likely would've won a combined playoff format.

Why did we split again?

Landreneau is another one of those kids that has been a top notch pitcher since he was little.

He also pitched in the championship at Cooperstown for 12 year old team

No select schools supported the split

If there was no split they still wouldn't be playing each because John Curtis would be in 4A. And from what I just witnessed in Sulphur, Catholic wouldn't be playing West Monroe either, because with out a spilt Catholic would have gotten beat weeks ago.

After being FORCED to play 2A, when given the option JC played in 5A.

Years ago they played 4A because not all sports could compete. Not the case anymore

Amazing how little most people know about what really caused the split.....

I do recall a large classifications state champ whose leading tackler and rusher lived in a neighboring parish - public school - neither kid ever sat out. And this was pre Katrina so recovery school rules and such were not in force

Forcing ECA and JC down to 2a and 1a caused the split.....and that was caused by 4 principals who never get mentions......

and once they started talking about 5a for everything or brokering a deal for 5a football only....

BOOM.... the play in class rule was hatched.... I BEG of you to tell me differently there....pun intended
