Was at DUNHAM not Denham Springs...
But lets put him against some real competition please.
I mean that's not the best team in the state but it's 5A Central and every tackler he ran over was 6' and in the 190-215 range. It was 4th quarter and both teams were pretty gassed. Makes it more impressive on his part....
everyone in 5a caught a big break....
Except Barbe...who voted for the split...which actually allowed Haughton to even make the playoffs...who eliminated Barbe...the irony!...

JJ you're a good sport. This is why we play the game. Central was a 3rd place team in their district. Amazing story! ...
If there was no split they still wouldn't be playing each because John Curtis would be in 4A
After being FORCED to play 2A, when given the option JC played in 5A. Years ago they played 4A because not all sports could compete. Not the case anymore ...

Sterlington beat OCS this year. Likely would've won a combined playoff format. Why did we split again?...

But public schools say they can't get kids outside of their zone. How is Iowa pulling it off legally?...
You are on crack. The best teams from 5A-C played a tournament and the best teams were class 5A-C State champions.
I'm laughing at myself now. I can't believe I fell for your troll job. I now realize you've been messing with me this whole time. ...

I agree and have not said otherwise. My point was that you are supposed to win championships on the field. But the LHSAA does not allow the kids to play it out to see who is the best and win the championship. ...
He did play them. And he won.
Ha! I hear ya! You also know what I'm saying. And if we are playing that way...I didn't realize they played the state title game 6 weeks ago. Also didn't see where WM-Catholic played each other....
Since they couldn't just kick Curtis and Evangel out, every school in the state suffers.
Here's what I wish for after every state championship game, when the media interviews the winning coach and the 3-4 players. "Congratulations 'Slade Bolden' on an incredible season and victo...
So you'd pick Catholic or Curtis over West Monroe? State championships are more meaningless now, but they all still want to be the best team
The LHSAA principals voted that West Monroe can't win a State Title if private schools are in the playoffs. That's the whole thing with th...

Owl... Why in the world we create a new playoff system to get rid of inferior competition? The reason for the split at is absolute core is that (in the opinion of LHSAA principals) private school teams field better teams. If they didn't feel this way there would be no reason to split....that's ...
You are full of shite. Thank you for clearing that up.
Actually... You are still very unclear by what the LHSAA attendance zone policies are. The LHSAA for quite some time has assigned attendance zones for eligibility. Anyone that attends a school for a calendar year is eligib...
Sure, first they have to sit out a year or move to a home in that school district. Private schools have to do neither. They can just play immediately. And thus the split.
Actually... Private schools have attendance zones assigned to them by the LHSAA and anyone who doesn't live ...
