Our softball team just walked off Florida to salvage a win for the series as well. I think Glasco seems like he has a lot of potential for them.

SLU error in the top of the 9th lets SIUE get the W and spoil the sweep. Schwaner hits into a DP with bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th.

Needed a sweep against this team, but have a big week with ULL Wednesday and UConn next weekend.

You guys will definitely be a great test for us on Wednesday. Robe played quite a few freshmen this weekend, and we don’t have the best track record in Hammond. Should be a good one.

Seemed like they were running out of arms today. Rotation seemed like nothing special. Definitely nothing overpowering.

They can hit. That's about it.

Just the trip to Malibu is worth it, win or lose.

Considering that Wright State is our next weekend series, how did they look?

Horizon League favorites and no pushover. The first two games were tight, the third was a blowout. Probably about what you would expect from that level of team -- good Friday pitching, a few big hitters. They will be a challenge.

Experienced, too. I believe they have almost everyone back from a good team a year ago.

They beat Clemson 2/3 to start last season.

Y'all post the records and scores for your teams. I'll add RPI to it later when it becomes relevant.

Did you make to the games? Looks like Riser will have a minute challenge in the pitching staff, then again its only week 1.

I didn't get to make it up last weekend, but I plan on going to at least Saturday this weekend against UConn.

We don't have that clear cut ace like the last few years, but I'm not ready to panic yet. Green should maybe go back to the bullpen. I'm not putting too much stock into what happened to Hileman in the 9th, as an error on a ground ball is the difference between a save and a 4 run 9th loss.

Same here, looking to make it wednesday or friday if weather permits. This is a gruesome week. I just want to beat ULL, well, win 3 of 5 will work.

Alcorn should be a great game to get a lot of freshman experience.

I would like to beat ULL, but it's not the end of the world to lose this one if we win the next one against them.

We really need to take 2/3 from UConn.

A 4-1 week would be outstanding, but I can live with a 3-2 week as long as we get the series against UConn.

Not Louisiana related... but word out of Starkville is Cannizaro is done. 40 win season last year, but 0-3 to start this year at Southern Miss and then rumors of sleeping with some staffers... Not a good look.
