Same here, I like those jerseys. The ones they had on today looked like something from little league.
They should make this part of the rotation.

Best Cajuns unis ever. That STL style hat was cool but I liked the staircase USL New Era hats they wore in the mid 90's.

The lettering on those jerseys are legit.

SLU with the win for the series clinch. Second straight game scoring double digits, which is good to see some life in this lineup, even with Schwaner struggling at the plate. A sweep this weekend will be a great way to start the season.

College of Charleston winning the series today.

Hopefully Chad Holbrook can get us back to dominance.

These uniforms are douchey af but I always love when the baseball team wears the black “the college” uniforms. Although having that middle button undone so it looks like 3 “L” in colllege is very befitting of CofC academics.

Tulane takes the series in the bottom of the 10th on an Acy Owen walk off double. Ross Massey was excellent in relief.

Definitely an X-factor for this team. If he can perform it'll make a huge difference

I don't have the stats from the first two games in front of me, but it doesn't seem like the Wave have struck out much at all so far. That's a big difference from last year's team. Might not be a great lineup, but it' seems like a bunch of guys who can put the ball in play and move runners over. I'd much rather this type of lineup than the home run or bust we've had lately.

Cajuns bats looked a little better yesterday. One Texas outfielder made two outstanding plays to rob two doubles. Hunter Kasuls has finally looked alive at the plate, Gavin Bourgeois has been a good leadoff hitter, but this team has to find power. Handsome Monica twisted his knee early on Friday so he's been out this weekend, hope he's ok. Monroe Moll looks like James Develin so maybe he's got some pop but he kept striking out on Friday.

Also worried about Dylan Moore. He was untouchable for two years, then pretty bad last year, and then blew his first save opp last night. His fast ball was only hitting 85-86, and he's not hitting his spots. We may have to try to find a new closer.

Those Texas students who dress up in the white button downs with the chaps who stand near the cannon look like such figs

Cajuns win 2-1 to get something out of the weekend. Harris exited early with a strain on his back or his side, true freshman Brock Batty came in and pitched 6 innings and Stoelke gets the 1 out save.

Could have easily taken the series if not for a blown save last night.

Cajuns will be at Southeastern on Wednesday (barring what looks like a shitty day of rain), then host Wright State over the weekend.

Nice win. Bittersweet that we couldn't close last night. Taking the series in Austin would've been a huge start.

Positives: Our pitching was outstanding outside of Moore. Burk and Schmidt were both very good on Friday. Lee and Perrin were great yesterday. Harris was good until he got hurt, Batty was outstanding. Stoelke got the out he needed.

Perrin and Batty are freshmen lefties.

Negatives: Bats were still fairly cold. Harris and Monica exited with injuries. Moore looks awful again.

Considering that Wright State is our next weekend series, how did they look?
