Cajuns and Warhawks in a battle right now. Game in Lafayette.
Tied at 3 in the bottom of the ninth.
Going extra innings now.
ULM had bases loaded with one out in the top of the 10th and couldn't score. Still tied 3 to 3 going to the bottom of the 10th.
Cajuns win the game in extra innings 4 to 3. Homerun by Cantrelle.

Pretty much the only people still going to games right now will be there regardless. Most people have already been driven away and I don’t see Dannen making a change yet.

ULM used to have a solid team, but it went to shite over the last few years. They at least look like they try this year. The players didn't give a frick with the previous coach.

23 straight victories over any team in the same division in any sport is absolutely something to hang your hat on. Especially in baseball, over a team in your conference that hates your guts.

Didn’t expect us to make a huge jump to the NCAA tourney or anything but I really like Federico. He got those kids to jump on the ship and play baseball this year and it’s really good to see that. The future is bright in Monroe especially if we can get the fans in NELA to jump on board. Just give him 2 more years and ULM will start to compete in the conference.
Now onto football season where we have a chance to have a very good football team this year. If the defense can play better, we should be able to win the conference. Viator has done a nice job thus far and he has to get 6 wins this coming season. Once football gets going, athletics as a whole in Monroe should improve a lot. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. WAR DAMN HAWKS!

Think Tech needs to win the conference tournament in order to get in? Don’t know if they’ll get an at large bid or not
