Solid weekend for Tech. 2-1 and the only G5 there. Plus the womens conference tournament starts up. If you live in Frisco and still don't know what Louisiana Tech is, shame on you.

Didn't Jackson State beat ULL in the opening game of a regional a couple years back? Good start for ULM but their schedule is very weak so far.

Yep. JSU used a soft throwing junk ball pitcher and it threw Degg's super aggressive batters off balance .

And then we responded with a 11-1 win against them in the elimination game before beating Mississippi State twice to win the regional. That was a fun weekend.

LA Tech and ULM play tonight and regardless of what happens this is a good time to remember last year's affair.
LA Tech beat the chicken Hawks so bad they used a little sprinkle to call the game after four innings and then refused to make up the game unless it started over from the first inning.

Tulane is disappointing in the early going. Pitching was supposed to be the strength of this team, but it has been really bad, especially the bullpen. Baseball was the one sport we were good at...

They have played a strong schedule so far. Only bad loss is against UNO.

True, but our record would be better if we had a more reliable pen and played better defense. That was our demise last season, but I guess 6-6 is much better than last year’s horrible start
