Kentucky up 7-4 in the 7th. Ran out of pitchers and Kentucky can really hit. Hopefully Hogan Harris is back soon.

I've been a little shocked after losing a bit from last year. Guilliams is an outstanding hitting coach and his work with this group is showing. Great week for the sticks and all without the All American Pompey doing anything but pinch hitting.

Very impressive group. I'm just glad we didn't get raped like Houston

It's not over. Just messing with you. Bats are hot. The Hazelwood kid that pitched and now the McGeorge kid throwing now are both former players of mine.

Nice.

Our bats have been a little warmer over the past two days, hopefully that trend continues. The State game was an affront to hitting

You guys know our SS went to LSU? Trey Dawson. I'm assuming he was processed for lack of a bat. Great glove, but can't hit a lick. I really like our team. Seem deep everywhere. I'm looking forward to a big run this year.

So did your bullpen get worked earlier this weekend? I noticed our radio guy saying expect to see a parade of pitchers from you all today like it was a Johnny Wholestaff situation.

Not too bad, it's just very shallow and young right now. Our Sunday starter is out injured so Perrin had to start instead of coming out of the bullpen. If Harris started, we could've hopefully gone with Harris and then Perrin hopefully getting us through 8 and then if you have a lead maybe Stoelke is ready.

Tulane won 9-3 and avoids getting swept by Cal State Fullerton. We improve to 6-5. Played a fairly tough schedule so far, have midweek games against UNO and southeastern coming up then a weekend series vs Purdue.
