Kershaw was amazing last night, overshadowing what I thought was also an amazing outing by Bartolo Colon. That was the first baseball game I've watched this year, and it was good to see Colon still going strong at 42 (he showed some quick reflexes on balls hit up the middle also).

The thing that stands out to me about about Kershaw is that hitch/hesitation in his motion. He has a lot of deception in his repertoire with that and his great off-speed pitches. He seems like a good guy too -- Kershaw's Challenge

Just completed his 36th straight scoreless inning

Hea faced mike trout and Bryce harper in two of his last three starts and they went 0-5

Kersh pitched 8 scoreless innings today with 7 K's and 0 walks.

It was his worst outing in more than a month.

Yeah, he's losing his edge.

was named pitcher of the month

Kershaw was dominant even though he was limited to only four starts during the month, allowing one run in 33 innings, going 3-0 with a 0.27 ERA and 45 strikeouts against only two walks during the month. Kershaw extended his scoreless streak to 29 innings through the end of July, then extended it to 37 innings on Saturday in his first start of August.
