Look for Mets-Marlins to be canceled tonight

Marlins want to play. Mets want to boycott. Commish wants the Mets to postpone it an hour in protest. They told him to frick off and they don’t want to play.

Or have one of the bullpen guys buy a Mets pitcher's jersey and go out and toss to the Marlins players.
If you want to get really elaborate, you can do the same for the "Mets" hitters.

I'm amazed how these athletes speak out for injustice when the victim is always a criminal, yet we don't hear about this stuff when you see children shot, random men and women shot, etc.... The hypocrisy is amazing when I can go to Google and look up the shootings in NY, Georgia, California, Chicago and see more killed daily and no one cares.

It’s really amazing how different this board and the Mets board I read are. I know, I know.. different parts of the country. Those guys are saying the marlins are assholes for wanting to play. I can’t imagine the rant if an LSU team was pulling this stunt

That’s surprising to me because all my colleagues who are Mets fans feel the exact opposite
But it’s understandable with them, they aren’t poor libs

I’ve been on the side of the NBA players and MLB players the entire time but I don’t agree with this move by the Mets. The Marlins have four doubleheaders and two off-days the rest of the season because of Co-Vid. Their schedule is brutal enough as it is. Adding another doubleheader to the Marlins plate will make things even more difficult for them. If the Mets want to make a statement, just forfeit the game instead of penalizing the Marlins.

While I agree with this. I’m still pissed about this whole screwed up situation..... gee...... Thanks George Floyd for breaking the law in the first place.... they would NOT have been called if you were just doing nothing wrong. AND thanks To the officer who knew this dude and had a grudge against him and choked him out......

To have pro athletes saying “ We aren’t playing”..... oks fricking bull crap. Don’t play ?????? Fine.... don’t get paid.......FACT!!!!!!!!!!!
