Well the kid got a hit so I would probably put the blame on the kid who hit into a double play.
And I understand the tv reason for not playing another game but why not just have a single elim tournament to begin with?

Chicago winning today would be the equivalent of Alabama winning the National Championship against LSU

That being said, Chicago didn't make the rules. Great job to come back through the LB and win the US championship.

the rules have been the exact same every year lol. dont bitch about it now

It's always been bullshite. It's a double elimination tournament. They should have to lose twice to be out.

Worst end ever. Don't understand how it is double elim all the way until the important games.

They did mercy rule 3/5 games, and outscored their opponents 38-12 including today. But, with that melt that just happened, I'm not sure they would've won a second game tonight.

Fellas with the pitch counts here u have to have a single elimination championship. Nobody would have pitching left unless they 10 run rules basically all their games or they have 5 to 6 stud pitchers out of 12 players.
Also I commend little Houston for sucking it up and getting out the inning then getting a clutch hit. #27 for Nevada would have been up in the stands with his parents after that act he pulled. He really showed up his coach. If I read his lips correct he said he didn't want to play anymore. Smh! Also Nevadas coach ought to be shot for putting his ace out there when he told him his arm was sore or tight! How fricking selfish! Pressure bust pipes and that's what happened today. Lets go JRW Chicago! Bring it home!

Nevadas coach was vastly different from every other coach I saw in the tourny. He took it the most serious but props to him.. He had an outstanding squad.

I bet the Chicago team's kids are so damn proud of them

And make no mistake about it most good 12u travel teams would thrash either one of these two.....
Both teams keeping kids in game after meltdowns is too much for me..

The last 15 years...Japan either wins or is very competitive against US teams...if US wins, it's by a run or two.
The fact that SK beat Japan twice and whipped them once...
Doesn't bode well for the US.

First All Black team to play in the LLWS championship game - Gary, Indiana 1971
First team from Chicago to play in the LLWS championship game - 1967
So how are these guys from Chicago making History?
Anyway good luck USA!

The pitcher for Nevada who walked off the field when he reached the max pitch count was likely getting his first base glove.
Was a bitch move to walk off like that but doubtful he didn't want to play any more.
