So proud of Chicago. Love everything about their team.
I was torn though, because I believe Nevada would beat South Korea.. I really don't think Chicago will have the pitching to stay in it now with their guys not available.

Did the kid have his foot on the bag? Looked very much like he wasn't on by the time the ball arrived. They didn't show a replay down the line.... But would be fricking hilarious that that kid tried to claim he was hit and the coach used his challenge there, when he really needed it at the end.

I just like how Chicago plays. When their one player got a bit excited after a home run against that NE team he went over to the other coach and apologized on his own. They didn't pout, their pitcher got down on himself after giving up the home run but they never once acted entitled..

Protecting the kids arms, it's stupid. Start the tournament a day earlier or something, would love to see a game 3 between these two.

TV...... And WHY does ESPN keep brining up that ITS the 1st BLACK team/... They are little kids. No matter the color. SCREW ESPN and their ATTENTION WHORE WAYS...

Nevada's been pretty fricked on this whole tournament coverage wise. No coverage in the city for any game. Meanwhile we've got nothing but talk about Philadelphia and Chicago in all the games and TV coverage of watch parties in both those cities.

Like everything else in sports these days. ESPN/ABC can tell potential advertisers that the single game is THE American LL championship game and charge them as such.
Otherwise ESPN/ABC would have to say, well this game MIGHT be the American LL championship, but it might not be.

I'm afraid I agree - I'm not sure the kid kept his foot on the bag at first. The coach had burned his last appeal so the call stands. But I noticed that the announcers did absolutely no analysis or commentary on the replay. I'm sure the umps want to get it right...but I'm not sure that play ended the game.
