The authority deal has a lot to do with it. I know a few teachers that work at Parkway and mrs bougeis is a royal bitch. She is very impressed with herself. She was more worried about her authority being challenged then making her school look completely foolish in front of the entire state. And the cops that actually agreed to handcuff the coach have a case of the dumbass as well.

Donnie lives in Many, Louisiana. He was an assistant coach and just retired (again). He spends his time fishing at Toledo Bend.

Understatement.

That's Dr. Bourgeois. Make sure you get it right!

thanks for the info anyways. some of his former players on here would probably like to know what he's up to these days. i was actually surprised he went back into coaching after he retired in '06.

Why do school boards hire people like this?

These type of people gravitate towards administrations in school systems IMO. They love a title where they can make people bow and scrape.

On the bright side, I don't think she did herself any favors in this episode when bossier parish is looking for a new superintendent.

If this guy wanted to be a dick he could sue for being taken into custody without cause.

If i was arrested and embarrassed in front of my fellow coaches, team, students, fellow teachers and fans, then yes i would pursue this. I really believe it will happen. The coach has already done an interview with the local news. She abused her authority in this one.

Tut is a great coach, I played under him for 2 years. The guy will protect his teams no matter what. He thought he was getting fricked and stood his ground. Good for him

The guy does stand his ground. I think that goes a long ways with fans and players.
