And they are on teams? It confuses me.

so be it. I’ll take the juice from courses and tournaments people actually care about. LIV could simulcast on all viacom channels and would still draw a 0.0

LIV just needs to add T & A

Get young hot women in front of the cameras

They do not need to speak

Just wiggle and jiggle and suck on popcicles or bananas

Sex it upo.

Occasionaly have a titty pop out.

the biggest problem I have is that it feels like the whole time the broadcast team is telling you how great it is,

Well it's that or have your head chopped off, seems a pretty easy decision.

BTW, good for the MSB being more sensible about this than the Golf Board.

Terrible product. Broadcast looks like it’s from the 80s

This CW deal was a huge mistake

Yes it was because CBS owns 25% of all of the CW affiliates and they are refusing to televise any LIV games because of the monetary interest it has in the PGA.

Based on the in-person attendance numbers they are doing spectacular. They should have done a deal with Amazon or Apple TV to broadcast their events though.

I assume they tried a lot of things before having to resort to the CW

They have a LIVGOLF Application that is free to use. They also have WGN which is on every Cable/Satellite system.

I had read that all of the major networks were told by the PGA/CBS if they or one of their subsidiaries broadcasted any LIV player, team, or tour the PGA would cancel their broadcast rights.

Fox from what I remember was far along in the process with LIV but pulled the plug due to pressure.

The anti-Saudi stuff the PGA pushes is funny because the largest sponsor of the LPGA is actually the Public Investment Fund.

PGA doesn’t have the leverage in this situation. The networks tell the sports leagues what to do, outside of the NFL, not the other way around.

The business reality is that CBS, NBC, and ESPN/ABC all have deals with the PGA. Why would they undercut the value of the PGA and their long term broadcast rights by broadcasting a rival league?

Fox could’ve made a deal, but I’m guessing they didn’t have confidence LIV would do ratings, and they also just aren’t interested in golf after their disastrous US Open broadcasts. Fox certainly didn’t get told by the PGA (whom they have no relationship with) or a direct rival in CBS what to do.
