Give them the same deal they gave Brooks.
Brooks is a 5 time major champ, and defected early
you can't give the same deal he got to Branden Grace or Harold Varner

Spieth made a point in his press conference today to call out how guys that sued the tour and turned down earlier offers may be treated differently
Remember Smith, Rahm; and Bryson already publicly turned down the brooks deal. With now zero leverage the second offer certainly will be worse

Bryson is one of the biggest golf stars on social media. Refusing to let him rejoin is stupid. Just admit it is all about petty jealousy and vengeance and has nothing to do with "growing the game" or "for the good of the sport". I don't care how many pages of pride logic you try to twist it, not having Bryson and Rahm competing week in and week out does not enhance the game of golf.

Bryson does not bring viewers to your actual golf tour. Neither does Rahm. Want proof? Look at LIv and look at the pga tour ratings when they left…..
Of course you let them back. But you are the one being ridiculous if you think they are going to get the same offer they recently turned down. That’s never how this works. Ever . That’s not pride logic, that’s real world logic. Your first offer is the best. Your second offer after you lost all leverage is certainly going to be worse
And as it relates to Bryson he sued the tour, not exactly “petty” to have some sort of additional penalty for him

This! You think you are leaving for greener pastures and basically burn the bridge with your former employer and now you want back. Good luck with that. I say make him earn his way back or let him stick to YouTube.

If bryson is near top of leaderboard on sunday it absolutely brings more eyeballs
If you dont believe that then you are just being intentionally contrarian a la SFP

And quite literally, they were already offered the Brooks deal
They turned it down. Blame LIv for lying about being funded through 2032 or blame their agents or you know, BLAME BRYSON AND RAHM for turning down the deal….
Blaming the tour is ridiculous

Show me the dip in the tours numbers without Bryson, or Rahm. Show it

LIV was a shite product that people couldn't find on TV for most of its existence
Plus many tournaments were in middle of night

So surely you can show me the pg tour numbers went down when then lost Rahm right? And the pga tour tournaments without Bryson ratings took a hit right?
Posted on 5/1/26 at 8:57 am to lsupride87
So you are making the case that big names do not improve ratings?
Posted on 5/1/26 at 8:59 am to Cosmo
The totality of talent does, the individual golfer does not
LIV was the litmus test that proved that. The worth of the individual golfer to a tour is worthless. Tiger is the only foil to that
Rory being gone from Cadillac they will be fine
Scottie being gone next week truist will be fine. You won’t see any noticeable ratings drop front the year prior

So the ratings for zurich were ~40% less than harbortown week before
If a team of rahm/bryson was in contention with the fitzpatricks on sunday you think that changes nothing?

Zurich this year without Rory was higher than last year with Rory….

I just did answer your question.
Adding one more elite player wouldn’t have touched Zurich’s ratings

What are the PGA tour viewer ratings looking like lately?

PGA Tour TV ratings in 2025–2026 have rebounded to seven-year highs, with 2025 weekend viewership jumping 22% and CBS reporting its most-watched season since 2018.
So better ratings with all the LIv guys gone than when they were there

Not sure why I was downvoted. That wasn't a gotcha question. Pride, you really are a soft bitch, huh?
