The games themselves aren’t so bad but good lord ravich and the rest of the announcers are so sappy and cheesy with all the gushing over 12 year old kids.

Hey, at least it's a legit sport and not the Squibb's National Spelling Bee, Cornhole Championship, Domino Finals, etc. that ESPN has on in prime time.
These kids are playing their hearts out and to make it to that level is a feather in their cap. Let them have their few hours of fame because most of them will not make it to the bigs, even though that's likely the goal most of them would love to achieve.

I wish they would partner with a league that produces the highest quality little leaguers. IIRC, this is Dizzy Dean affiliated. USSSA used to be much more talented than what ESPN televised.
