Sources: The #Lions are receiving trade calls on running back D’Andre Swift, whose representatives have been in contact with the team about potentially moving to a new team. With Detroit drafting Jahmyr Gibbs, the talented Swift appears poised to leave Detroit.

He shouldn’t have much value, as he’s always hurt, but some dipshit GM will grab him.

I don't understand this at all. It's a perfect pairing. Swift will be awesome for 4-6 games before he gets hurt and that will buy time for Gibbs to get acclimated, then Gibbs will take over.

Chiefs as part of their rotation or Miami.

You aren't slow playing a RB in the NFL that you just picked at 12

Miami sounds like a good landing spot.

As a Dolphin fan, I hope not. If we offer them a case of Gatorade and a few rolls of tape, maybe.

Odd pick for DET especially that high. Swift and Gibbs seem pretty similar. I get that Swift gets hurt, but that's what happens more often to pro backs who weigh less than 220. I think Swift is listed about 10 lbs heavier than Gibbs.

The Lions are going to replace Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift with David Montgomery and a rookie they reached on.
Lions will Lions I guess

David Montgomery isn’t a slouch, and he can handle a pretty big workload.
Plus, Montgomery is much younger

I mean Detroit has 3 2nd round picks.
Unless they're gonna trade 2nd + Swift - future 1st?

They aren’t getting more than a 4th for Swift

Lions are trying to get younger and cheaper at the RB position.

which is why you'd think its set up for them to move him with one of their 3 2nds for a future 1st.
