Don't need a lotta yards, when you intercept and take fumbles on a short field, and 100 yard kickoff return to the house as soon as the left coast softies draw within 10 in the 3rd Qtr.

Notre man muscled the SC greenhorns.

Notre vs Oh St and AZ vs USC foreshadowed why Linesmakers had Notre -3 vs an unbeaten with a Heisman co-leader.

It really wasn't his usual hatred of defense. It was more Notre Dame's defense just being relentless on his offense. The Notre Dame defense won that game - not their offense or Sam Hartman.

Alex Grinch is an absolute bum. I’ve been banging this drum for like 4 years now. Dude must have compromising photos of Lincoln.

Cannot discount that ND D and ST contributed to shorter fields. But at same time the yards per play favored ND at 5.1 vs SC at 4.1. ND just had the ball way less time.

At the end of this season,

Lincoln Riley will have had Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, & Caleb Williams at quarterback throughout his career.

& not even one playoff win to show for it.

I don’t love Kelly but I was melting over him coming to LSU. He’d probably tell Perkins not to hit so hard.

No, Riley is a bitch. He ran to USC because he wanted no part of the SEC and it's easy to see why his team's are soft.

Hell, I could recruit a top 5 defense to USC. All you have to do is recruit the best Samoans.

There’s deeper institutional issues at USC especially around NIL. It’s not an elite job anymore with the current admin handcuffing the program. He won’t be here for long. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him bounce after the season.

You could see last night coming from a mile away with how disappointing and terrible the offensive line has been. Think I said as much in the prediction thread. Caleb is panicking behind the terrible offensive line and pressing.

Him leaving OU was the biggest favor he ever could have done us. We hold Texas on 1st and goal last week from the one and Notre Dame just walks right through USC in the same scenario last night. The combination of Lincoln Riley, Alex Grinch, and Bennie Wylie will kill a program.

His teams are soft and not physical. He is what he is. Overrated.

Dude doesn’t deserve another HC gig. He needs to go be an OC somewhere.

I thought he had turned the corner in 2020 when they smoke UF in a bowl game and their defense looked pretty good. But...not so much, I guess.

It was more of an indication that Mullen was garbage.

while brock huard was flabbergasted at how Utah was lined up on D and allowed caleb to walk in for a TD, i had a feeling that it was deliberate, so they could get the ball back with enough time to score

Probably was. Whittingham coaches circles around almost anyone, but especially Riley and USC.
