This is what I expected, the last three years are the worst west Monroe teams I've seen. Louisiana 5a has been horrible. People thought I was joking when I said Rummel would blast them this year.

31-7 final. 27 runs up middle, 4 passes, 1 sweep. Great job tonight.
Won't happen. Play calling beat WM tonight. Having 2 OL out including the center was a big reason for the play calling though. Couldn't go to shotgun because every snap either rolled to him or was over his head. WM will get healthy and you'll see them in the Dome.

Rummel has to be the favorites, they're playing exceptional this year. Just saying they won't blow WM out of the water.

If I had to pick a favorite in 5 a right now it would be barbe,,,,,or the way they are playing now. Gasp. Catholic...ground game is something,...
Those two favorites being behind rummel....but a healthy wm
All bets off...
Last time I thought a catholic league team would win state was in 97
5a is not weak.....just no c,ear favorite at the top
