Where are y’all seeing the beaker at? I do know WM plays Chalmette on Friday. I’ll be heading up there for that one. My GFs son is a freshman and dresses out for Varsity.

Looks like quite a few teams ignored Friday deadline to opt out of playoffs and deciding today to sit out. This may cause a lot of byes

they should have postponed the bracket release to Tuesday or Wednesday
Teams have been doing that all year, picking up games on short notice

I disagree, but like I said I wouldn’t pick anything this year with contact tracing. Teams could lose their entire offense the day of the game. Then some parishes aren’t even doing contact tracing, so it’s not a level playing field.

Where do you see them getting the offense from when teams stack the box? I hope I'm wrong but they are extremely limited on offense with D Williams being the only weapon.

If you’re asking me how they can win, it’s really easy imo. Play defense, pin teams with the #1 punter in the nation, ball control offense in the I, hit your play action passes 7-8 times a game. Drive by the stadium and see those banners hanging. That was the recipe, minus Todd, for all of those and it still works. Just ask Acadiana. Stacking the box just means you block the right guy/make the right read and it’s a long touchdown.
