They’re not scoring though so does it really matter?

St Thomas More may have the best overall body of work in the state at this point.

St Amant and Walker look fairly even on paper. St Amant had two quality wins over good 4A teams in Opelousas and John F Kennedy

It could be a 3-way tie between Walker, Dutchtown and St Amant; Live Oak and Denham suck, and EA has played a brutal schedule to date.

Agreed. I was hugely disappointed in BM after that game, but BM has otherwise been competitive. Might say more about STM than BM, despite BM's offense just having nothing to really kill you with. HC, on paper, should shred BM...but I think it might be more interesting than what the it says on paper, much like most all other Catholic League games.

You may be right, there. The LCA/STM game may be a must-see game.

LCA trying to pitch the shutout @teurlings right now.

ETA: Shoutout gone. Teurlings makes a 43-yard FG. They have a good kicker.

62-3 LCA.

2nd team marched down for an easy TD.

LCA-STM will be a hell of a game.

Westgate and North Vermilion haven't kicked off yet. No officials until 9:15 PM

ETA kicked off at 9:10

They moved the game to tonight. Evidently the memo didn’t get distributed

Chalmette 35 MLK Charter 14 final

Playing their band during our Alma mater and fight song wasn’t too cool… they looked exactly how’d you’d expect a 2A Lower 9th ward school to look

In normal 2A they’d be alright, but they had us, Newman, and St Charles Catholic in a row

Is he also the baseball coach? I may be butchering the story, but I was told they reported Episcopal for allowing a pitcher to exceed the max pitch count in a playoff game. This caused EHS to have to forfeit the game to DWHS.

Their coach is a good guy with a tough job. Their are a few kids playing college ball because of him. He is making a difference in some kids lives.

no he is not. the score keeper reported it to head coach and then by rule it's a forfeit.

This was a shotgun marriage of a game because we both lost a week 7 game. We don’t need to be playing 2A teams no matter how their band acts.
