River parishes…

Pretty sure it is common for that district to go from Dutchtown to Destrehan.

If Bunkie wins this week it’s going to set up a good game with two 7-0 teams against Jena.

Walker is one drive from the 5 (turned it over on 3rd down) vs Ponchatoula from being 6-0.

Favorites for District now after beating Dutchtown last week 21-20.

Destrehan will move up on their rankings, which I think are computer generated, with wins against Terrebonne and East St John (combined record of 11-1)

East St John gave Destrehan a tough fight when they met again in the 2022 playoffs.

D’Arbonne Woods coach Tommy Tharp was on the radio in Monroe and they asked him about other select schools such as Curtis, Evangel, and Calvary

His response: “They cheat and we’re not going to do that”

I have never met him, but I have noticed that he likes to stir up controversy.

Doesn’t he have a district game vs Calvary Baptist coming up soon?

Bunkie should beat Buckeye. If not we have no business acting like Jena will be a big game. Any team losing to Buckeye will not beat Jena. That being said 2 7-0 teams in Panther stadium will be electric.
