It’s quite obvious that Chalmetteowl has never played a snap of competitive football in his life.

Play 3 tough nondistrict games then play that district

Exactly…. But instead he thinks he is receiving some badge of honor by playing in the CL when his school is bottom feeder 5A.

Getting your brains blown out every week does nothing for your team or the development of players.

Why not schedule WM, a Central or Zachary and then a Destrehan and then play in the weak district?

Always surprises me with how much teams practice it that players grab ball before it goes 10 yards. That UNS also turned the game.

Without a doubt, it was 3rd and 14, basically started Rummel's only decent drive...

Both defenses played A+ ball.... Curtis really only had 2 good drives, their first possession with that screen that went to the Rummel 12, which they held them to a FG, and their last possession, where they scored the TD... Rummel pretty much shut down the Veer.

Game also came down to that Curtis fumble at their 15 and the blocked PAT.

If you like good defenseive play, this was the game for you.

What metrics are you using to base your theory on?

I genuinely can’t wait to hear this.

For one we played better against St Aug than East Ascension did, and they’re above average

Vague and not a metric.

Are you referring to margin of victory? 51-13 vs 52-7

For the record, I think Chalmette has a fine team and would be capable of winning some districts.

And if they keep fighting they will play some competitive games in district and even win a playoff game.

People give you a hard time but your support for your school and high school sports on this site is an asset.

looks like my alma mater, Central Lafourche, has entered the "real" part of the schedule... district

this is where it always goes south quickly

Play two schools from another part of the state… one home one road so you get a travel game each season

Play third game locally against a good 5A school… destrahan works, Mandeville, etc

But… bigger picture.. Chalmette did not choose to be in the CL
