I know Ruston typically always has a good front 7 on D, seems like their secondary is legit this year. Damn good QB they went up against. Amazing the RBs Ruston puts out every year. I went to HS in Shreveport during the 80s, I remember those Ruston teams very well.

Luquet should have never been hired in the first place. You don’t replace a guy like Coach Salt with a coach who has a career losing record.

As someone who graduated from Mandeville in 2016, you are absolutely incorrect on kids going different places. I know at least 10 right of the top of my head that I grew up with who then went to St. Paul's, Jesuit, Brother Martin, or Rummel.

Also I believe in 2016 we won like 3 or 4 girls titles and had multiple runner ups, and for boys we won like 2 titles and runner up in like 4 or 5.

Football has gone downhill since LeCompte left (love or hate him). In my 4 years we made 3 semi-finals

ASH beating EA was good for the program. ASH keep improving on D and keep leaning in the rush they may make a little noise

Funny you might wanna go back and look at CHS pbs and u high record vs laffy teams in last 20 years. Lil ole u and pbs. Bigger enrollment disparity than last nights game

The lack of discipline shown to lose that U-High game should be concerning

Turning their hands backwards to STM players in the after game handshake deserves some extra running. Acting like sore losers and little punks.

They still have over 1,050 boys at the school. More than almost every other single school in the state, and they have more resources than almost every single public school in the state, and yet they are not very competitive across almost the entirety

I know we beat them in round 2 in girls basketball… and in baseball they played the toughest schedule in the state… Barbe, Sulphur, Sam Houston, Catholic BR 3x, Parkview, St Amant, Live Oak…

I’ll be damned if they look at all of the NOLA publics for violations after all this

What I heard was Karr was next…

routine reviews are catching most of it and for some reasons schools are turning other schools in now more. I just wish the LHSAA would go back to publicly reporting violations.

You might see a few more. Schools can't help if parents or guardians lie about where kid lives or where custodial parent lives(which got one off the hook)

How can that happen? STM only has 350 boys to pick from… oh well, another underachieving year for Wiener and his 5,000 boys to pick from… oh wait….
off by more than 100 for stm and nearly 4000 on chs so when pbs and u high beat stm in dome with only 200 boys.... well?

How many points now all-time has St Aug lost due to not being able to kick FGs and extra points?

Add 3 to that total. They turned it over on downs at the Karr 5 yard line

6-0 Karr 2nd quarter

EDIT

Then they get a safety from that turnover on downs… so now add 1 to that total

6-2 Karr 2nd quarter

St Aug loses more points by not kicking a field goal from the Karr 3 yard line… they’d be tied at half instead of trailing if they could kick

This is why they haven’t won state in 45 years

Still 6-2 Karr at halftime

We refer to it as the curse of Vinnie Burns. Surprisingly enough, he was a kicker that went on to play at Virginia Tech.

We haven't had a kicker since 2002
