I was anxiously anticipating watching Cole Kelly play and I came away not that impressed. I can see why LSU didn't offer. He has some talent but needs a good QB coach that can coach him up. IMO, He has to get better to be a starting SEC quarterback. ND also has a really good defense.

It wasn't that bad. But the play calling stunk. Once they opened it up in the 4th they started moving the ball. The QB did overthrow the WR over the middle a few times on what would have been nice gains and maybe even a TD. Defense played OK, giving up only 10 points with virtually I offense. But they did allow for some long yardage and clock eating drives.

Coach Spat had that program going in the right direction. I am hearing they are losing players to another team close by.
