That game was back and forth all night. They did not “work” them like they did Neville tonight. This was an absolute beat down while the Ruston game could’ve gone either way.

Same way with WM/ASH. ASH had to convert a 4th and 10 while losing in the 4th. The final score was on 4th down up 3 points. Ruston tonight and ASH tonight were different than what I saw the rest of the year. They both played at a higher level, which is what you want to see going into the playoffs.

You wanna see something special look at that Acadiana DL, they will clench you up.

Personally, I like that Acadiana isn’t being brought up a lot. They have played a very soft schedule since STM and if they think they can just walk through the playoffs because of how they’ve been beating teams lately they have another thing coming. I could see them losing before the semifinals to be honest. They’ve been throwing the ball a lot against overmatched teams but I guarantee the first big time matchup they will go into their shell and veer the shite out of the game and be content with 2 yard runs up the middle against a stacked box the first two plays every series instead of keeping a team with equal talent on their toes with a pass or run outside on first and second down. I’ve seen it many many times.

You are still close to the WM program? It is apparent they need a overhaul on the coaching staff. Would they go after Bachman with his north Louisiana roots or do a major national type search? The Rebel Club has the resourses....

WBRZ has Sacred Heart beat Academy of Sacred Heart Grand Couteau 42-0

I thought the academy was a Catholic all girls boarding school they have a football program?

I think they do. Also keep an eye on ST Fred’s coach. He is a top coach in the state nobody is talking about

Yet you had some posters in here suggesting he could be moved to db or lb.
I’ll never understand that. I’ve watched him get knocked backwards about two times this year. I bet he breaks 30 tackles a game, he is durable, fast, smart, blocks well, and is secure w the ball. He is playing north of 190 is what I was told by my son, who weighs in w him. My son isn’t the best reporter of facts!

Why I think he could play slot at LSU is what you just said. Just for a comparison, he’s the same height as Slade and 10-15 pounds lighter. Remember how small Slade looked on the field in the SEC? He was 5’11” 205 at Bama. I’m not knocking him to say he could play slot. I think he’s versatile enough to do it and would be successful in that role.

There are just some flaws in the thinking I can assure you the plan is not to make him a slot.

To clarify, I’m not saying it will happen nor that he can’t be a back. I’m saying I think he has the talent to play slot and be successful.

FWIW, the Neville we saw last night was different from what we saw the rest of the year.

And has put on a few lbs during the season. But forget the rest I can attest that he is one of the best young men you will ever meet. Loves his teammates, you would never know he was the star.

I’m one of those posters on here who asked if he would playRB at LSU. Not sure of the returning RBs next year plus the incoming RB class…with that, I merely asked if he would continue at RB or play elsewhere whether offense or defense. I like your idea of him playing slot he seems you would want the ball in his hands whether RB or slot. I totally get if he starts out at slot and maybe plays RB. Kid is too good to not get him the ball.

Was the last time you will see Neville play in a district game as a non-select school

The last time they had an opening they hired the right guy but the good ol boys ran him off to Ruston because he wouldn’t play daddy ball. Nobody wants to be a part of that dying program.

Where did he come from? He’s done a great job so far, and I think I remember he's from that area.
