Shows sounded like he was slurring in the post game interview. Was it just a heart attack he had earlier this year? I hope he's ok, he sounded really bad.

The good news is I'll save $3-400 bucks at Christmas this year that can go towards my kids. No way this team makes it to the Dome.

Hell of a statement to make after one game dont you think?

If they go with Mims full time and the offensive line comes around they could be fine.

We have seen it before.

And I caught the end of the game on the web...Shows sounded horrible trying to talk...almost like he had sufferred a stroke rather than a heart attack

Special teams is the problem

Really though special teams is something they can fix. It was the first game.

I've never seen him play favorites, but that is the word coming from multiple sources inside the program

You've had your Red and Blue glasses on Show's always plays favorites, but I just can't see a team with a defense like they have and a big offensive line losing multiple games.

It's gonna be a hell week of practice, and hopefully some of the SR's step up and lead the team. They've got the tools to be a championship contender, they've just got to move some pieces in their puzzle.

I went to the HHS/Jesuit game last night.

Either Jesuit will be really good, or HHS will be really bad (at least for their standards).

Jesuit's Defense was smothering and it was only until the third quarter, when HHS decided to pass, that they scored. Jesuit's RB, Staten? #19, was really good. I think he had 21 carries for 210 yards, with 3 scores. Had a couple of catches with that.

For LSU fans, Sandolph got hurt in the game. I believe he rolled his ankle. They taped it up, but he was walking very gingerly. He obviously didn't return.
