Yea. They can get pretty ridiculous . I heard last ight was over the top though.
Really like our coach. Got Ruston headed in the right direction . Good guy.
Good.luck the rest of the way in the playoffs.

EA was poorly coached last night. Live Oak missed two easy pick 6’s. Could have been worse

Two best RBs in the state goInfo head to head...this ought to be a showdown.
It was a tough matchup last season in the playoffs. Iexpect it will be even tougher this year. Should be a great game.

Since you were at the game last night, what did you make of the play where, according to the announcers, Pooka Williams "karate kicked" a Ruston payer in the facemask? The play-by-play guy called it as Pooka trying to hurdle a defender. Then all of a sudden the whole announcing team changed their tune to it being a kick to the face.

I was wondering too. I picture it as he was hurdling and the guy raised up and shoe to the head.
Colonel I think I’m going to go Friday night. Have to be on the water in Hopedale Saturday morning by 5:15.

I listened to 104.5 last night on the drive back from Dutchtown and have to say the announcers were pretty salty about WM and North La in general.

Same here. They way he announced it as trying to hurdle someone makes it seem like that's the logical explanation. Then all of a sudden Pooka turned into Bruce Lee and should have been penalized.

Live Oak. 65 carries 389 yards
0-1 passing
They dominated line of scrimmage. They may get destroyed next week, but give them credit . Only fumble big plays made it remotely close

Rummel would have probably been the best team in the state without all the injuries
Either Rummel or Parkway. Losing a 4 Star QB and 5 Star WR the entire year is pretty crazy.

I’m jealous of these boys at ND
. When I went there the competition was way harder. We’d face Lutcher, Parkview, etc Regular season was a breeze, but we’d always have some tough matchups going from quarters to finals.
ND should have no problem with Riverside.

They most definitely will.
Thank Goodness I’ll never have to hear that PA Announcer ever again. This guy thinks he’s calling the game on the radio, with commentary and talking during plays. Not the job of a Stadium PA Announcer.

You could be right...ND has blown out some good teams this year like Tuerlings and Catholic NI....but they barely beat Kaplan....I think it will be a good game but I think ND will pull away by 2-3 scores at the end.

Curtis' guy is the same way. Super-annoying, I guess that's part of the shtick.

I was there, looked like he went Kung Fu on the defender ha ha We were all laughing, then complaining bc we were rooting for Ruston
That Pooka's a bad dude for no bigger than he is, he beat us pretty much on his on.

No. Notre dame beat Kaplan 35-7. They barely beat kinder. On that morning, they went to a funeral for one of their classmates who fought a long battle with cancer. They probably weren't themselves that whole week.

I do agree with your prediction though

Sulphur and EA thought the same thing too. Then they lined up against them and got the ball smashed down their throats even when they knew what play was coming. Its going to be a physical low scoring game that will come down to wins the battle at the line of scrimmage.

These types are the worst. Everyone that hears your voice is at the game. They can see it with their own eyes. You aren't calling play by play for the radio. The people at the game didn't come to hear you ramble on the PA.
Call out a ball carrier, who made the tackle, and that's it. Less is more.

Yep you are right I was out of town that week and got it mixed up.
Tough deal on that girl with cancer....she hadnt been in school for over a year and was voted on to the homecoming court shortly before her passing I think.
