I saw on FB that the LHSAA is waiting til Monday/Tuesday to review and make a ruling. Can’t say I’m surprised the LHSAA is an incompetent organization

Because the lower seed paid $10,000 for charter buses to travel 5 hours and pulled off an upset

Not sure of the names of the crew from last night, but it was the best I’ve had in 11 years of coaching. Lafayette association. They were very professional and a pleasure all night.

We had a Laffy crew and they were good also. This year we have had all good crews (all BR area) except a river parishes crew that I mentioned briefly in the week 7 thread.

It’s almost like a normal Friday night in ferriday.
In the mid-seventies Ferriday was in the 3A district with Wossman, Richwood, Winnsboro and my Farmerville team. We played at Ferriday that year. We dressed in Ferriday's gym. When it came time to take the field, we were instructed to walk between the men that were lined up from the gym to the football stadium. Because their fans had gotten in fights with teams heading to the field, they had two lines of cops, firemen and fathers from Ferriday, standing an arm's length away from each other, facing away from us. We were told to walk between them and not say anything to anyone. There were no incidents, but it was something I've never forgotten.

I’ll be in attendance for WM/Mandeville. Should be a good game, Mandevilles defense is legit. Lost their only game of the year to St Paul’s by a missed FG

I'll say this. There are several incidents they are looking at and this one is at the top of the list and given the fact that playoff crews need to be assigned and travel arrangements of teams need to be made, along with that other little issue they have to deal with on Monday. The "brawl" incident will handled before the time line in that post.

A big thing they don't want to do is have 2 playoff caliber crews assigned to have 2nd round games and poof on Monday or Tuesday they could both be gone. It is bad enough that if could be one(but they have no control over that) no way they let it become two.

yes but games played out. The game being called puts this one at top of the list as well as any dq'd players for teams that advanced.

I expected WO to lose, they haven’t beaten anyone with a pulse. Tip my hat to them for getting a playoff win.

When things get that bad the offending school should have to play all games on the road. Or at least a neutral site. These are kids getting an education playing a game they enjoy. They shouldn't have to fear for their safety.

If Ferriday somehow finds a way to stay in the playoffs, I don’t think the next opponent Welsh would be to excited to go there. I would be asking for a neutral site.
