The rules are rules and that I get, but adults treating a 14yr old freshman like it’s his fault is pretty shitty.
I also find it interesting that the kid played all year an it went under the radar, but a former player of St. Paul’s who was one of their best ever that was kinda shunned by his alma mater, was the coach of the team that they were playing. Oh and Andy and the kids dad were former Tulane baseball players. Like I said I know both of these guys and I believe rules are rules, but it’s kinda interesting timing.

JW went to Rummel and likely would have went to LSU if not drafted by the Rockies in R1. But you are correct in saying awesome family and kid.

Yep, don’t know why I had it in my head about Tulane. We all played together & against each other through the high school years.

I’ve heard that same thing this weekend from several other HS players including my son that all play off season ball together
They say the kid is the real deal.
Of course we’ve all been watching Kade since he was 12 and we were in ATL when LSU made him the offer as a 14 year old and had never even played in one varsity baseball game yet.
