I don't foresee NLA having a lot of success Friday. I was told Zachary was considerably better than WM at the scrimmage. I didn't go, so I can't say that 100%. Coming into the year I thought WM matched up well with Zachary as this is the best secondary since 1997. Will have to be all hands on deck for as much as they can play to have a chance imo.
Got some lines for this weekend sent to me and whoever made them has WM +12 or +425 on the money line. Both great value picks if I had any interest in betting on a high school football game.

Agreed with everything you said.
WM can win. Zachary underwhelms with their talent lately. Get John King back over here and WM will hang another 3-4 titles.

I can see all three 2-5A teams moving on… leading to semis of WM at Ruston and Ouachita at Acadiana

I could see that as well. WM and Ouachita will need a little luck and to win the turnover battle but I really like Ruston considering their tough schedule combined with Woodlawn last week being the first decent team Destrehan has played all year

They’ve made it before. Was a great experience for them all the way up til kickoff
I was there bud, the best experience was seeing all the OCS fans at the Semi game cheering on Southern Lab(who they just lost to the week before) while we kicked their arse

I was there and it was definitely hilarious to see the green and gold disappointment. Was an absolutely freezing night with sleet which helped SF a little bit IIRC. Pulling for them Friday and the defense should at least give them a chance but it will be tough to pull this one out. That defense is elite though. It’s pretty messed up that they will have to win 3 straight on the road to make it to the finals.

Stopped by school and got my ticket.

I picked Ponchatoula in my bracket
Posted on 11/24/21 at 6:51 pm to Ponchy Tiger
Ouachita got outplayed by Denham who played a freshman qb who threw 3 passes. Without those two 3q fumbles one returned for a td they lose 21-6
Ponchatoula would need to shite the bed to not beat them.

And the one fumble Denham player was clearly down.

Soooo the higher seeds will all do what they're supposed to do and actually win. Way to go out on a limb. Not saying it won't happen. Saying you're not exactly Nostradamus for taking the favorites.
anyone that has been on the field after thanksgiving knows all to well .... anything can happen from here on out....best time of the year

That being said...the most upsets happen the week of Thanksgiving. You're out all week, you don't have control of your players, etc. It actually might be better to be the visitors just because you have your guys the entire day. If you're at home, you'll have guys hunting, Black Friday shopping with the family, sitting around watching football games, etc.
or your quarterback separates his shoulder thursday morning duck hunting.....

Wow, I didn't know this. Hopefully our boys can get it done. We are pretty undisciplined in that we commit a lot of penalties. Had 9 by the middle of the second qtr last week, I think 16 for the game. I want so bad for us to make it to the Dome.

think choupiquesushi doesn't realize that and thinks he missed the John Curtis/Jesuit game, which was pretty epic
Posted on 11/24/21 at 11:45 pm to choupiquesushi
I watched the stream of Jesuit v. Curtis while listening to the BM vs. Byrd radio stream and smoking a cigar.

Next 5 teams still alive: 26. Ouachita Parish 27. E.D. White
Why is ED White ranked so low when 9-0?
