You’re not going to do any good arguing with that dude, he’s logictrumpsemotion on LSL and hates all things WM.

As I said earlier this week in this thread, EDW has a nasty defense and this game could be interesting. All I got in responses is that EDW schedule was weak and they played shitty teams. Holding STM to 21 points with 2 INTs and a pick 6 is damn good defense.
As I predicted that EDW will run the clock all night. I think EDW passed the ball 5 times all game.

Not sure any WM Fans bitch about refs or anything destrehan did in 2008

That WM team was plagued by Shows affinity for daddy ball and running the ball up
The middle against those DTs

The 2009 team with a much better SR (3 first year starting SRs) oline and Paul Turner would have steamrolled that Desty team like they did the whole Catholic league

I’m from BR area and haven’t seen either team play this year. Didn’t care who won. WM has legitimate gripes about the officials. The PI at the end was bad, Holstein was throwing high all night and it was a bad ball with no interference. The resetting of the play clock was absolutely bizarre at the end for Zachary. The touchdown that looked like a fumble for Zachary and the two point conversion were all overruled by the same official on Zacharys side. I’m
Curious at what WM said to warrant that 15 yard penalty when they were driving late.

What do you think of the matchup with UHS? UHS may not be as explosive offensively as STM, but I have to think their defense is much better than STMs. Seems like it should be a great game.

One more time in 1A for the states oldest rivalry. Homer vs haynesville, 10 miles apart, playing to go to the championship game. Homer won big in regular season. Pels havent been since 85’.

Definitely think Uhigh is the better team. Bigger and deeper roster. EDW will keep it close for most of the game given their style of offense and great defense. Uhigh should win though

Warren Easton is playing better than any team in Louisiana regardless of classification.

Looking forward to the game this weekend. Neville isn't playing too bad either...

Repost from last night-

Anyone know what time the Jesuit - CHS game will be on 12/4? The D-1 and D-3 championship games are slated for Sat at Yulman Stadium but the times aren’t posted. How are those determined and what times are options?

The Jesuit - Catholic game is at 7:00 Saturday according to Crescentcitysports.com

If there are 2 games at Yulman Saturday, parking is going to be a nightmare I'd assume.

Sounds like they had Arch Manning stop passing with almost a full half to go to protect his legacy in the Box Score.

Coward move by the Newman Coaches. Instead of having the seniors on offense keep fighting for some dignity in their last game - it was all about making sure Arch didn’t throw another INT or Two that would open him up for some national criticism

good grief.... nevermind lca was better at probably 18 or 19 of 22 positions

100% was not a fumble. That is clear as day

He was either short of the goaline or a TD.

However, those penalties were egregious mistakes by the refs. Hard to explain that one

Looks like a couple bailout calls, which I hate. The last one with the stretch in the end zone is bad but with no replay it almost impossible for a high school official to make the correct call all the time on those.
