How well attended are these 11:30 am weekday games? Seems unfair to the kids.

I really wanted to go to support a friend last week in the finals. Unfortunately it was at 10am. That’s just not right to the kids.

Can’t imagine playing a playoff game on a Monday morning in an empty gym 3 hours from home. What are they thinking?

I know some inner cities play games in the afternoon for safety reasons but this is kinda ridiculous.

It's the only way the LHSAA can schedule to hand out a trophy to EVERYONE. Some of these teams wouldn't make it out the first round much less the top 28 with the old format.

Natchitoches Central is legit

My cousin is the coach there, and has turned a really good program into a great program. He does a great job there.

I’m so pumped for that game Thursday. It’s gonna be a good one no doubt.

The winner of that walker-n. central game wins the whole thing IMO.

Another bad result from the Private/Public split. It's now the top 48 with 12 divisions. It's the only way to get all the games played.

Walker is the only 5A team I can't see winning it...

so how's it gonna work next year when select and non select have separate state tournaments? Boys and girls will still be at separate sites for each one?

Wanna know how I know you haven't watched any of walker this year ? Jalen Cook is the real deal. If I'm not mistaken Tasmins nephew transferred to walker from Denham and the kid can really play. They also have another point guard in darrius Hampton that can score at will, along with a 6'5 jalen Perkins that can jump through the roof with good hands and a nice jump shot. They lost a close one earlier in the year to Nach. Central. They are ready for the rematch.

I can tell you haven’t seen Walker play this season

They have beaten EA twice, McKinley, Westgate, and Madison Prep. They lost to Scotlandville by 1, Woodlawn of Shreveport by 3 and they lost to Riverside.

The way Walker has played the last couple weeks, they look just about unstoppable. I think they beat NC on Thursday.

Cook has offers from d1 schools in football and basketball and he is only a sophomore.

I’ve been in PA for all of basketball season. I’m sure it was just an off night. I’d rather have it in the quarters than the semis.

You been to many of their games this season? Is Mylik the real deal?

Yea, its one of the most exciting high school teams I’ve ever seen. You can tell Mylik is a real special player. Quick, beautiful shot and can jump out the gym. But it’s not like your watching him in a set offense. It’s just a wide open free for all that starts with their D. I would think he has the tools to play big time college ball though.

Check this out against Ville Platte last week. He’s #1 LINK
