The kicker from last year started for Southern as a true freshman this season. From what I have seen from Zachary, their kicking game this year is a definite weakness

Surprisingly, WM is very strong in the defensive backfield, with several players who roll in and out throughout the game to keep fresh legs on the field.
The WM linebacker corp is solid with several players who come in and out all game long.
Special teams will be critical as the game could become a defensive struggle.
WM has a punter that can punt the ball a mile in the sky and can land the ball inside the 10 yard line consistently.
Will the gifted RB for West Monroe be able to play Saturday night?
Can WM play a mistake-free game and have zero turnovers?
This game is going to be a classic and will come down to which team makes the least amount of mistakes and who has the ball last.
WM has the extra motivation of revenge and wants to show that they are back in 5A football.
WM in a close one, 21-17.

Were you at the game? I was on the stm side and my brother on the CHS side. Stm was up by 3 scores i believe. He texted me that it was about to be a blowout. Then CHS started running the ball and STM could not stop them in the 2nd half. I hardly call that “putting it on them.”

Everyone knows he is a POS and typically resorts to ban or money bets. He swaps his picks up frequently so he can say I told you so if the outcome doesn’t go his way. Some kid from WM must have taken his wife as much hatred as he has for them. As a matter of fact, I know he’s from Ouachita and could even be the PA announcer that quit mid third quarter as WM was putting an arse whipping on them.

Kicker won the game for them last year. 3 FGs, 2 40+. They won by 2. Also had 7 handed to them the first possession when freshman punter fell on a snap at the 1. Zachary very well could win Saturday. To act like they whooped WM’s arse last year is just a farce.
