Maybe they want to make their own path. I can tell you this, NO ONE will outwork them in the gym, they are focused on what they want to accomplish.

I doubt they knew much about any of those places to factor in “making their own path”….

Just needed someone in it for the long term to bring them over …

This is true.

This is true also, they could be playing for the Sisters of the Blind High School and they would be happy.

For Drew’s sake I hope you are right. Typically, kids with this size and potential move. I will be very surprised if all three are back at St. Michael.

That’s great. I’m assuming they come from poverty, etc… idk…

But I do wonder about the motives of the guardians…. Not implying anything about this situation…..but do they know these kids from a mutual source? Have they hosted foreign exchange students before, and these happen to be almost 7 foot and athletic?

Would you be surprised if they’re all in the BR area?

I could see them moving to other schools in the Baton Rouge area. Some teams in the area have become pretty good over the last few years. Zachary, Liberty and Madison Prep all have become well known for basketball and could be a potential landing spot for them.

I’m not saying they are better schools than St. Michael or better coached, I’m just saying I wouldn’t be surprised.

I can absolutely say, as long as Coach Hart is at St. Michael, he will have access to multiple big, athletic kids 6'10-7'1. From 7th-11th grades.

Yes you are assuming correctly.

But I do wonder about the motives of the guardians

The motives of the Guardians are simple, they have a Foundation in which they bring these kids to America to get an education. The goal is to get them a college education so that they can return to their native land and help their family.

but do they know these kids from a mutual source?

The Guardians are the Source. But yeah they have connections over in South Sudan which is known to have the world's tallest people. Even the girls average height there is 6'5.

quote:

Have they hosted foreign exchange students before,

These kids are NOT exchange students. And this is the first time that they have hosted kids, BUT, they have placed kids all over America with host families or prep schools. They have kids in Texas Florida. Georgia California, Iowa, Kentucky, New York, Virginia, Mississippi. This is the first time they've brought them to this area.

, and these happen to be almost 7 foot and athletic?

Yes, that is correct, they have a waiting list of kids ready to come over. The average 7th grade kids are 6'9. Even have a few 7'ft 8th grade kids.

The goal is to place these kids with great host families or prep/private schools.

The schools that these kids attend MUST be Homeland Security approved. Zachary and Liberty are not approved schools through Homeland Security. Besides the culture at Liberty is a no go. With Coaches, Players, and Fans getting in all out brawls these last few years eliminates them for sure. Not the culture to subject these kids too. Homeland Security approved schools are mostly your Private and Prep Schools.

what homeland is looking at is the danger at schools themselves.

Are you saying that the average height of girls in South Sudan is 6’5? Because that’s wildly inaccurate.

You are wrong. Common sense should tell you that. Spending any small amount of time searching it and you will see that you are wrong. Average height of Dinka women is under 6’.
