Very classless move by Landry Walker at the end, no excuse for that. Hell of a good team though.

What kind of chant?

Helmet to helmet knocks WM's MVP of the game per press out. Arm flopped knocked out. They start chanting, "He need some help" they're celebrating on the field. Just a trash move in all aspects.

Have these two teams ever played each other before?

As an athlete who has had the score run up on him a few times, I've found it best not to have any opinion whatsoever when it comes to this topic.

LW won 50-21. That is all.

There's different types of "running up the score." There's throwing the ball up 28 with 5 minutes left and then there is refusing the kneel the ball to end the game, then going for two.

I have no opinion on what you said and feel no need to consider the difference between the two scenarios you describe, mostly because I have no control over them other than the defense I play. It would be unsportsmanlike of me to concern myself with the motive of my opponent.

As a player I probably would've just tucked my tail and got out of there. As a fan, I almost wish we would have taken a few knees out on the ensuing kickoff.

I don't think so as LW is only 3 years old as a school.

Oh ok, I didn't know if there was any past history there between the two.

And had it been the other way around with West Monroe running up the score, Landry Walker coaches and fans would be crying to the lhsaa and there probably would have been an altercation

I couldn't make out what they were saying but I agree it was pretty shitty. They did clap when he got up though.

People around me were saying West Monroe is arrogant so they had no remorse that Landry-Walker ran up the score

Now that said, some people might have some background on WM vs. OP Walker or Landry before the merger. But I can't recall anything right now.

if you don't like it, then stop them

Not their responsibility to stop running their offense for you

Sounds like you were ready for WM to quit. Sorry you're mad the LW wanted to keep competing

Don't know if there is anything. Walker was 4A before Katrina. Landry historically was the whipping boy of the Algiers schools and like 3A or 2A

WM is definitely not liked ... after Edna Karr beat Neville the Karr
players tossed their helmets in the air and ran over and started taunting the WM student section which is odd since they were not even playing WM.

During the LW vs. WM game, a group of LW fans went over and sat next to the WM student section and started calling out some offensive stuff to the WM dance teams. Security had to tell them to move ... and many of them were adult LW fans!

Props to the LW team as they were a better team and their QB was playing at a different level, but there was some stuff going on that should not have been happening at a high school game.
