Time to make a metric ton of money

Cap number for 2023: $49 million
Cap number for 2024: $52 million
Cap number for 2025: $22 million (nice little discount)

I guess Jerry could always extend him and spread the love out for longer

Is he under contract that year?

Contract voice March 2025, they could cut him but that number would still count against the cap I believe.

Dak is terrible and I put this loss squarely on his shoulders but think about everything they could have done if Jerry had the balls to tell Zeke to walk. That was money flushed straight down the toilet.

Should have put in Romo vs the Packers in the 2016 playoffs

No. He won't be a Cowboy in 2025. Unless Jerry extends him...which he likely will...because...he's Jerry.

This is one of the greatest contracts ever. It made the entire NFL happy....well except for Cowboys fans.

I like Dak for what he is and wish LSU would have done a better job recruiting him, but he is not a franchise QB and not worth his contract or the previous franchise tags.

The amount of money tied up with Dak and Elliot the past couple of seasons has been ridiculous.

49 just as much. If there's a big cap increase between those years like it's projected, the 49 next year might hurt more than the 52 after honestly.

Now, put up Brock Purdy's contract, and let's discuss who's the better QB.

The 49ers gave up three first round picks for Trey Lance who cannot even beat out Purdy, so they are not exactly a model franchise either. Lance cannot even touch the field.
